My Mama bought me this phone because my other phone got broke. I was so excited to have it and the features but unfortunately I have been unable to use it to do anything much and if you get an email with an attachment the attachment is too small to read. The keyboard characters are too close together and I constantly hit the wrong keys. The only good thing is the T9 is awesome.

I bought this phone just a few months ago and I have had nothing but problems with the phone since I bought it
It turns its self off, I dont recieve my calls or messages until hours after they were sent, it doesnt keep good signal, ect
This phone would be good for someone who has the patience to deal with not getting their calls or text. Online doesnt really work the internet with the phone stops you from checking emails everytime you try to get on it it says it has a mp3 player that you can download music from which it doesnt you have to download from your computer and then add it to an sd card to get it onto the phone so anyone wanting this phone for the mp3 player be advised of the headache youll have to go through to get any music
Overall the phone doesnt really work and straight talk says theyll fix the issues with the phone but then they wont so if your wanting a phone with good online service and actually comes with an mp3 and you need to get important calls then this is NOT the phone for you

Good phone for the money.

This little phone is good for the money. It uses AT&T towers. This is not an Android or Smart Phone, but runs 3g, so you can surf the web and facebook, but is kinda slow. Camera is just ok, you can take photos as long as there is good lighting, but the quality is just fair. Overall, I would say if you need just a good phone, it will fill the bill. It is small, gets good signal and voice quality is good. It has bluetooth and connects with my car with no problems.

It is not very easy to view all your messages because there is no back button to go back to the previous screen,so you have to go back to the message screen to view the next message. Also, the screen is really small so my fat fingers are always hitting the wrong letter buttons on the touch screen, which is really irrating.

Not a good phone at all

I pretty much bought the phone for the price, so I bought one for myself and one for my husband. The low price reflects in the quality. The phone has a lock feature so that it won't dial in your pocket, but it unlocks frequently in my purse and pocket, and deletes my numbers. My husband had the phone delete all of his contacts while in his pocket. I have had the phone for 5 months, and now my "END" button won't work, so I really can't hang up the phone or turn the phone on or off without holding down the button for 5 minutes and praying that it decides to work.

I was disappointed, but because of the low cost it is understandable. I could not send pictures. I was unable to use browser unless I was in aWiFi zone. Hence, internet did not work at all while traveling on the road. The txt and phone calls were ok. Conversation would become staticy after 5 minutes of talking.
I have called Straight Talk tech support 2 times. Each time was transfered to a higher level of tech support because first level was unable to correct the problem. However, each time I was transfered I was told to call back later because of high volume o calls...then disconnected.
My mother has been with Straight Talk for over a year and has been bery happy with the tech support and her phone. Unfortunately, this one must be a "lemon".

Worst Phone Ever!

I have never had a phone this horrible before. Text messaging- forget about it. The predictive text will spell every word but the one you want to type, and that's if it's even spelling any words correctly at all. And the return key is too close to the delete key so you end up 10 lines down trying to delete the words WORST PHONE! The shift key is too close to the 'next' key so when you're tapping 'next' to get through the hundreds of innapropriate and mispelled predicted words, you END UP IN ALL CAPS AND SCREAMING AT SOMEONE VIA TEXT. It doens't answer, it doesn't hang up, speaker phone is awful, widgets are move around so much they're always on top of eachother. Touch screen? Yes, I'd like to crush this phone and I have never wanted to destroy a phone so badly in my entire life. It IS the WORST PHONE I have ever owned. I cannot say enough bad things about it. All these other reviews are fake!!! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GET SUCKED INTO BUYING THIS PHONE. YOU WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOURSELF. HEED MY WARNING.

Overall, it is an excellent phone. It has a wide variety of features that will meet most peoples needs. I have above average size hands which sometimes makes typing on the QWERTY keyboard a little challenging. Has excellent screen quality and sound as I work in noisy environments a lot. I would definitely recommend this phone to others.

Avoid this phone

I used this phone for 18 months, I'm a glutton for punishment, and gave it a good long run, but in the end it was the worst cell phone I've ever owned.
The touch screen is the main problem, it's incredibly picky. Unresponsive, too responsive, and inconsistent. Texting was always annoyingly difficult, you have to hit the screen buttons just right, and even then it might not give you what you wanted. Nearly unusable. Maddening. I have little fingers, but no matter, it won't respond the way you want it to. Eventually I found that using the T9 input was the easiest way to enter text, but even that was still hit or miss. Using the Qwerty keyboard was like trying to type while wearing dog paws, hopeless.
The hardware is buggy as well. I had to send my first one back a couple of months into ownership, it shut down and crashed all the time. (literally 10 times or more a day) The replacement was better, but it was still prone to hangs and crashes. (probably more like once a day) Once it crashes, which it might do just while sitting in your pocket because it got bored or a cosmic ray hit it, there is no telling how long it will take for it to be fully rebooted and ready to use. More than once in the middle of a semi-crisis while I was using it the phone decided that, "Whoops, that's all folks!" and crashed. Pulling the battery out became a common chore, because sometimes it simply froze up dead and that was the only way to get any life back. Then you might have to do it a couple of times.
In it's favor is the glass screen, nearly scratch free after 18 months of daily use, and the general build of the body also held up quite well. Physically it still looks almost new. Battery life was good, even piddling around on the web a lot never left me out of power in one day. It has a great screen, sharp colors, nice tight resolution, and takes pretty good pictures for only a 2mp camera. It's light and sleek as well. Good sound, great signal reception, easy SD card access.
It's NOT a smartphone, there seems to be some confusion there. It's a feature phone with some smartphone like abilities and attributes. There are some apps (Java apps) you can download onto it, but in all my time of ownership I never found one that was worthwhile. It does not use any of the modern smartphone OS's. There are a handful of games that can be bought and downloaded.
But don't buy one! You'll be sorry. I bought it was it was newly out and I paid a hundred bucks for. Big waste of a C note, would have been better to have simply flushed the hundred dollar bill down the toilet. I don't think that Samsung and Straight Talk could have created a more frustrating phone if they'd tried. Give it as a gift for April Fools Day, that's all it's good for.

Not All That Great!

We purchased this phone because we read some good things about it but when we actually received the phone, we weren't really that impressed at all!, more disappointed. It's a really good looking nice phone, but the internet and features aren't as great, unfortunately. Guess you get what you pay for. The internet ain't great at all and it's not even as close to a regular smartphone. You are better off actually buying a real smartphone for your money, that's what we did, we exchanged it and we paid the extra money for an android and wow wow! we love it. Guess I'd have to say it's OK for a beginners phone, but even then you really can't do all that much with it, better off getting a real smartphone their so so worth it especially if your going to watch youtube and other videos and use social networking sites like facebook, twitter and all those. Hope this review helps, just our honest review! :)

Not a phone for beginner

I am a beginner and the book that comes with is woefully inadequate at explaining how to
use this phone. The web site or customer assistance for Straight Talk know even less
about the technical aspects of the phone. One staff and only one in the electronics
dept. was knowledgeable and helpful (Dylan in Vadnais Hgths.,MN).
Even the staff could not get straight answers from Straight Talk!? The screen is either not responsive to touch or a hair trigger-I had others use it too.
The print on internet is teeny-tiny and phone /contacts/messaging is too convaluted to use
easily ie the keyboard disapears right away when you need to use it right away etc.
