I love the idea of a touchless trash can, but as some reviewers have mentioned, it can go up every time you walk by it. The sleeping cats have started to give me dirty looks every time I pass it and it wakes them up. I wish I had an out of the way corner for it to live in--the trash can I mean, not the cats! But I do like it.

Upside : Very nice looking and convenient item. Downside: The carbon odor filter does not seem to work well. We've had it for 2 weeks and we will attach a store bought deodorizer in it. Further, when we received this item via shipment, it had 2 dents in it. We were able to arrange it so that the dents did not show. Overall, we are fairly satisfied.

I've had a version of this trash can before and loved it. I like that the top opens without rubbing or scraping the wall behind it. I only gave it a 4 for durability based on my last experience with Touchless because I haven't used this one long enough to know just how durable it is.

I'm using this as a diaper pail and it has been fantastic. I can't imagine changing a diaper and opening up a pail at the same time. It really keeps odors under wraps. My son is 5 months old and I haven't changed the filter yet.

I love this garbage can. Ours has an outlet nearby so I also purchased the plug in adapter...well worth the extra dollars!
