Way over priced for an average product

I've had this product for the past 18 months and I bought it after reading all the reviews that stated it didn't have very good range. Those reviews were pretty accurate as the range is pretty minimal especially for video. None the less we were fairly satisfied with the product. That was until the night vision stopped working after only 18 months. I reached out to the manufacturer and was told I could buy a new camera. It was sufficient when I had it but will never buy another summer infant product.

Good Concept but Bad Reception

I like the idea of the handheld as well as the monitor for video but the reception of unit was not good. There was an annoying noise (crackling) with the monitor and it was too bright in my room.

My husband and I LOVE this monitor. The bigger screen stays in the living room, while the handheld stays in our bdrm for night use. We don't have the static problem as much as everyone else claims there is. Have used it at home as well as on a camping trip and has always worked great!
