Never heard of LaCie, but glad I did my research. So far, so good. Product is as described and is performing flawlessly. I love the fact that I could partion the drive to create secure storage. Casing is beautiful and LaCie is very quiet, I never hear it running. Walmart Price for this drive was excellent.

I have this external drive connected to my work computer. It's been doing a great job of backing up my files. I like the encryption feature. I had no problems setting it up. It runs cool and quiet. Can't be happier!
