This is my 2nd one of these blenders. I got my first one with the NuWave Oven, which I also like. However, my first blender cracked early on, I think because I put regular size ice cubes in it and the plastic container couldn't handle the shock. But I taped it up and used half size ice cubes. Finally decided that was the answer and I bought a 2nd one. I use it every day, sometimes twice a day, and I do love it. The double blade shank makes all the difference. I
just recommend you don't put large ice cubes in it, even though it says it crushes ice - it does crush ice, but smaller sized ice. I used the first one for over a year, even taped up. I actually still use it if I'm going to crush a lot of ice. I've had my new one a few weeks - no problems.

Ive owned mine for a week today and the rubber seal around the lid continues to fall off and THIS MORNING the darn thing went right into my mixer and got ground up! NOW ITS USELESS! I would NOT recommend this mixer to anyone!

I use it everyday for my smoothies. I burned out my other blenders after a short time of use. The cleaning is real easy; tis one seems to be real sturdy!
