My son out grew his carrying car seat and was way too heavy to keep carrying him anyway. I ordered this seat online. It was black and grey, so perfect for a boy. I didnt want any animals or tacky designs, so this one was perfect. The price was also great. I figured I would be paying at least $85-$100 easy for a new seat for him. The seat was delivered in two days which was before I even needed to use his old one. And it even came with a detachable cup holder. Now that my son is front facing he is so much better in the car. He is always looking out the windows, and he loves being able to see my husband and myself whenever he wants, instead of having to break his neck to turn around to try to see us. Plus I dont have to practically turn all the way around and get up on my nees in my seat to get to him. It is perfect easy clips and the strap the u pull too tighten the shoulder straps.

Review 2 for Cosco - Scenera Convertible Car Seat, Renaissance
A convertible seat for my son that would fit in our 2 door Chevy Cavalier and still hold two adults up front was a must. I was having trouble finding one that fit and after a lot of research heard about this seat. It fit! Even better, my son who HATED his infant seat loves this car seat. I was worried it wasn't padded enough and was too cheap, but he is comfortable. 9 out of 10 times he falls asleep in it and doesn't cry anymore when I'm buckling him in. If you have bucket seats like we do and want to install the seat rear facing, plan on cutting a pool noodle in sections (or rolling up towels) and placing under the seat or it won't tighten properly/be at the right level to the ground. Other than that, the latch install went smoothly.

So, I was pregnant with baby number three and thinking how in the world am I going to put two car seats and have my 10 year old all ride in the back seat of my 2006 Ford Taurus! Well, I thought of first where in the car I want to place each child- I determined that the newborn would use the infant seat we already have until I don't want to carry her around in it anymore... then my 11 month old would sit in the middle so then the 10 year old wouldn't have to climb over any seats and have an easier in and out. So the problem was how was I going to do a rear facing infant seat next to another rear facing infant/toddler (convertible# seat. We already were using a convertible one and it did NOT fit with the infant carrier seat we needed to use with the new baby coming. I searched EVERYWHERE until I ran into WalMart and saw their selection of seats... the only place I found these very slim- plain car seats.... Finally, success!!!! I bought it and tried it out, placing all the seats in the car and having my daughter sit in the back seat--- WOW, they fit perfectly!!! Then I switched the infant/toddler convertible seat forward facing to see how it would fit... PERFECT again. I then HAD to go out and buy another and see how they fit together- once again- PERFECT. I'm so pleased that a car seat maker out there is still making a very slim- yet very roomy seat. We did not need all the extras, padding, head pieces, fluff, etc. Just needed a safe reliable seat for my children to ride in and stay alive in. I bought two of these for my in-laws also. If you don't need #want) the large, fluffy, over rated, expensive, all bells and whistles seat- try this one- Really don't think you'll be disappointed!!!

Review 7 for Cosco - Scenera Convertible Car Seat, Renaissance
We bought this carseat as a second seat for my husband's car. http://thecarseatlady.com/ recommended it for us. It is small seat which is great ( I can fit two boosters in the back of my Camry with it) It was easy to buckle in but....it is not super padded so although my baby hasn't complained I can't imagine it is so cozy. The level is also just a piece of tape (instead of the liquid) which makes it hard to tell if it is as the right angle. Overall it is a great carseat and I am happy with the price.

Review 8 for Cosco - Scenera Convertible Car Seat, Renaissance
We bought this car seat specifically for an airline flight with our 10 month old. We attached it to a wheeled luggage bag with a special gogo kidz strap and wheeled our little one around the airport. Although it was just a bit too big to fit down the isle on the bag, it was light enough to carry with one arm down the airplane and fit into the airline seat. It was easy to install and it was the right price. We are now using it as a second car seat as it is not as cushiony but it did the job on our flight.

Review 10 for Cosco - Scenera Convertible Car Seat, Renaissance
Bought this as spare/travel car seat for a recent trip we took. I love how lightweight it is! It was so easy to bring through the airport, especially since we used a simple ratchet strap to attach it to my roller suitcase (see picture). It's also very sturdy and easy to install. It's not extra cushy like her other carseat but my daughter still find it comfortable enough to fall asleep in! We bought this as a spare but it's definitely good enough to use as a primary seat! I haven't used it rf so I can't say anything about that.

The car seat is perfect for my 2 yr old, he seems very comfortable in it and the straps were easy to adjust. I like that its not bulky like other car seats I've had and used. The price is affordable, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Review 12 for Cosco - Scenera Convertible Car Seat, Renaissance
As a gramma, I wasn't looking for a top of the line, no expenses sparred car seat for my grand baby, who flies in to visit me a couple times a year. However, this car seat is MORE than I expected. Installation was a snap, the cover comes off for easy cleaning, and it seems extremely secure and safe for my little one. According to the owners manual, it does have two positions for front facing: one is upright; and for an alternative, there is a "leg" type thing in the back of the seat that folds in to allow for more of an reclined angle. I find the upright position perfect.
Some commenters noted that there isn't a lot of padding, and I do agree, the cover isn't overly padded. But if the toddler is wearing a diaper, that's extra padding right there!!
This car seat is an exceptionally good buy. I would recommend to any one.

Review 13 for Cosco - Scenera Convertible Car Seat, Renaissance
We recently purchased this carseat after reading about it on a travel site. We bought it specifically because it was light enough to make it way more manageable to bring my son on a flight to FL and then use it in our rental car. It was great- light weight and no frills- perfect for our intention. That said, I would never want this as my primary carseat. There isn't any padding on the chest straps, and he kept getting red marks on his neck because when he would fall asleep, his neck would slouch, and rub against them. There was very little head/neck support, and I would not recommend this for a younger infant (he is 17 months). The last thing I didn't like was the way that the straps tightened. The leg and chest straps are all in continuity, and would occasionally be lopsided and difficult to adjust.

We bought this seat based on recommendations that it is a good seat for airline travel. While we have not used on plane yet, it is extremely light and seems like it will be perfect to carry through the airport. Have been using as backup seat in our other car, my 22 month old son seems to be fine in it.

I purchased this carseat to use with a 12 month old, rear-facing who had outgrown her infant carrier seat. It is fantastic!! I tried 2 other seats before choosing this one. I was skeptical of the $39 price tag, wondering what I would be giving up by not purchasing a more expensive model. I don't feel like anything is missing. It is comparable to seats that cost 3 times what this does. It doesn't have all the extra padding, headrests and push-button latches of $200+ seats, but all seats pass the same safety standards. What I love about it is that it is fairly narrow, allowing 3 seats across the average backseat. Also, the sides are lower, which makes putting a rear-facer in easier. Lifting a child up over a high-sided carseat often leads to them being bumped by the top of the car's door frame. Not an issue in this seat. I wish I had purchased this sooner! I would have saved $$ and headache!!!!

We got this over a year ago and it is great. My 18month is 32" and still fits in it fine rear-facing. Only problem is that when we put it into our small car rear-facing I cannot get it to install correctly. I can in our truck but not the car. Thankfully my husband can install it in the car. It has been a great car seat and we are only looking into getting rid of it since we need one that can rear-face longer then 3 years old to keep our child safe. Easy to clean, doesn't seem to stain easily and is a nice neutral color.

I have to say I was VERY hesitant to buy this car seat for my 10 month old daughter because the price was so reasonable...I always thought you had to spend a lot to get comfort for her! I was VERY wrong...I ordered this to try it and my daughter loved it!!! We took a trip from NY to TX and my now 1 year old sat in this car seat for 14 hrs straight except to get out for a diaper change and gas fillups!!! She slept in it and had a blast!!! I would recommend this seat for anyone that wants their baby to be comfortable!!!
