I got this for my 17 month old and he loves it. He like to put it on Scout and hear it play the song. He think he can use it with any book. The only thing for me is, I wasn't able to download the software to my tablet, I need an actual computer/laptop. Other than that I love it.

My son is 2.5 years old. He was amazed that "scout" could say his name. He LOVED that! Getting him to use the product as you would think it would be used is a challenge. He just liked putting Scout all over the page.

Bought this for my 3yr old son so it could help him to start reading books and such. Very useful only down fall the storage wise as far as the books go you can only have 3 books at a time on the hardware and then have to remove one or however many to add additional books for them to read or whatever.

I got this at Christmas for my 18 month son. He LOVES this thing. He is playing with it as I type and enjoys hearing his name as he turns it on and off. The size is perfect for his little hands and very durable! He has dropped it down on our hardwood floors with no damage done to Tag. I find it easy to load the books on and I like that it shuts off automatically if he doesn't turn Tag off. It did take a few minutes for the initial account set up with Leap Frog but now it starts up as soon as I attach it to my laptop. Even though the back can be hard for me to line back up, I'm so glad the usb is tucked where he cannot get his fingers too. Thank you for a great product!

The Tag Junior Scout Pal doesn't have enough memory for all the books. My daughter will have to pick and choose the books that Scout will read to my grandson. When I went to the Leap Frog website, I saw that it shows that you can put all the books on the pal...well, it doesn't. I bought several books, but can only put in a few so my grandson can read with his pal, Scout.
It has nothing to do with Walmart - got a good buy on the books and the pal - Leap Frog needs to make more memory for the pal.

My goddaughter loved this Leapfrog Tag scout Pal! it's a great educational tool for kids to read along with tag scout pal that speak what's written. She loves the songs as well. The only thing it to remember this that this only comes with a sample book!
