I wanted to get my son a kitchen for his second birthday. I wanted one that would last. I searched for a month and read review after review. This kitchen is awesome. My son loves it. The kitchen is taller and will last longer than most. Do not be scared off by putting this together. It takes longer because of the initial setup. The parts are connected to each piece and then connected together. I would recommend this kitchen to everyone. The color is good for a girl or boy.

I bought this for my 2 yr old son...my 5 year old enjoys it to and will hopefully be enjoyed by our newborn daughter down the line. I was looking for a tall enough kitchen they wouldnt outgrow too quickly and i was looking for a wooden kitchen built to last...i was also looking for the darker wood color to go with my own homes theme. This kitchen has all of what i was looking for and walmart by far has the best price by far. It was out of stock for a while but i kept checking back until they got it because i refuse to pay 50$ + in shipping and pay $200+ for the same kitchen i can get for $125...
Im very happy with the overall product..i put this thing together myself while hubby was at work...it took me forever as im not the most handy person but we did manage..i left a few screws for my husband because it was just too difficult to get them in all the handles...but its a one time thing so i dont mind...directions were pretty clear. I worry about the silver parts getting scuffed up and the plastic windows on the oven and microwave getting scratched but its fixable with some diy.
I also dont like that the stove burners are not fixed in..my kids always take them off and find it hard lining up the holes to get it back on...but not a huge issue.
Overall a good deal..good product and visually appealing

My 2.5 yr old eyes lit up when she saw it. She plays for hours. Easy assembly but it took about 2hrs to put together. We absolutely love it.

Ordered for my daughter for Christmas it was delivered so fast I swear it came an hour later, actually the next day but still very quick cause I was just hoping to have it for Christmas. Put it together a week before to make sure we had everything & weren't missing any hardware and because a friend with the same kitchen from a few years previous warned us it takes a few hours to put together even being handy at putting furniture together cause we've bought many things from ikea. Our daughter 4 & son 2 love making meals for everyone. They bake & cook & take phone orders for hours. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun entertaining use of imagination! Kidkraft has a few different styles it was very hard to choose but they were all real similar so I'm sure the quality is the same.

Just got the Uptown Espresso play kitchen for my 2-1/2 year young daughter. She loves it. Assembly took 3-1/2 hours with a partner. I bought another brand's pots and pans and handles do not fit over the pegs - I will have to improvise with string loops. I will also buy play appliances with sounds, as this kitchen doesn't have them with the microwave oven, but the knobs for the stove and oven do make the clicking sound when turned.
This is a great looking kitchen - I am not disappointed.
I highly recommend this family and friends.

LOVE LOVE this kitchen. Was looking for a taller more mature looking kitchen for my daughter who has long ago outgrown her current kitchen but still loves playing with the food. It's been a huge hit and she's only a tad bit taller than it @ 5yrs old. It looks very modern and blends in with the house rather than stands out like most other plastic kitchens. The wood is very sturdy and well made. Took my hubby some time to put it together, since he says it's like a piece of furniture, which means it is well made and should last quite some time. Love it and so glad we purchased it

This was the 3rd kitchen we purchased for our 3 year old and 1 year old. The other two were plastic and just was sturdy enough. We love this wood kitchen. Has plenty of space for storing things. Very sturdy however its tough to put together. My husband and I spent on and off all day trying to get it together. Overall we love the kitchen and get a lot of compliments when people come over. It's something that I think the kids will play with for many years.

Hard to put together, but worth it in the end

The directions are not 100% clear for this product so it took me about 4 hours (by myself) to put together. There were a couple of trial and error moments because of the lack of direction, but not too bad overall. There are a TON of parts, so I don't recommend putting this together with children around. The product is very nice and sturdy and it seems to me that it will last for a long time. There were 2 minor manufacturer defects (1 small knick in the countertop the size of the bottom of a pencil eraser and kitchen faucet was put together wrong). I was able to un-screw the faucet and put it together the correct way but there is nothing I can do about the countertop. My daughter is 17 months old and LOVES the kitchen except for the fact that she can't reach everything up top yet. It has a ton of storage space and is by far the nicest play kitchen I have seen!

We got it for our daughter's 2nd Birthday,we love the kitchen and got it for a really good deal,129.00$!
It took my husband exactly 2 1/2h to put it together with no breaks in between!We had fun watching him,lol!

Whole family love this kitchen, even daddy who had to put it together:). It took him some time, not as bad as expected though. He said that the instructions were clear and every part very well made.
We put it in one of my girls room, goes well with everything in there, I love it.
Kitchen doors open and close with ease even for my 2 year old.
Overall great product, highly recommended!!!

I bought this kitchen for my 5 year old daughter as her first kitchen. It has fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, stove and sink. It comes with no accessories, but the dark wood frame and "stainless" appliance doors are quality. The refrigerator, stove and dishwasher have a shelf each. The directions are just pictures with step-by-step graphics. You must keep in mind the big picture of what it should look like from the box picture. There are no "stickers" to apply for the appliance graphics. They are all pre-printed on the appliance doors. It really is quite heavy. My daughter loved it. It looks like a "real" kitchen.

This product arrived right when Walmart said it would, with no damage to the package. I built it by myself (my husband is deployed) it did take me about 3 hours but this is a VERY sturdy toy, so it is worth all of the labor to build it correctly! The wood was not damaged, the pieces are labeled and the hardware is packaged wonderfully with ease of finding for each step. The doors all hinge on METAL PIECES which is unheard of for kids toys. The knobs make clicking noises when you turn them (so fun!), and the height is great! The espresso and 'stainless' color scheme is beautifully realistic and works for either gender. The kitchen overall is an amazing deal (Kidcraft, the manufacturer wants upwards of $250 for it!) and worth every minute spent constructing it. Don't pass this kitchen up, you won't regret it!

Bought for my 5 year old that wanted a kitchen with a fridge so she could keep her milk cold! Ordered it online and it came in about 8-9 days. Pretty easy directions as far as putting it together, it took me & my daughters ages 11 & & 9 about two & ahalf hours to put together. Can't wait to see my 5 year olds face when she gets it for Christmas

I had been looking at the PB Kids Kitchens and just couldn't swallow the price tag. Did a search to find this kitchen and read the reviews and it is AMAZING. We didn't have any issues with missing/damaged parts on the one we received. The quality is fantastic considering the price with lots of storage options for pots and pans and food. My daughter is going to love this Christmas morning! The one thing I will say is that it did take a couple of hours to assemble - my husband did it in stages and I'd say it took about 3 hours from start to finish. Well worth it! Ordering from Walmart the item arrived quickly - quicker than I expected. Don't hesitate on this if it's on your child's list!

We purchased this play kitchen for my son's 3rd birthday. We got a great deal on it at walmart.com with free shipping. It did take my husband at least 4 hours to put together so beware that you have enough time to do it. Otherwise it's great large enough for two children to play at once, stainless steel look appliances, with a fake granite counter top, so cute!
