I chose this car seat because it had good reviews and was a lower cost than most of the seats out there. I also read that it had sufficient padding unlike cheaper seats out there. I like that it is adjustable and will fit my son through toddler-hood. It also has thick padding on the sides so that when he falls asleep he has sufficient head support. And we like that it doesn't take up the whole backseat of the car. We have a Honda Accord and we could still fit an adult comfortably in the backseat on either side.
You need 2 adults to install the seat of course (one to pull on the strap to tighten and one to put their full weight into the seat). Using the LATCH system seems to be difficult in our car, and all car seat makers would do well to put rachets on the strap that you tighten to make it easier. Also I wish this seat came with a sunshade, but most convertible car seats don't seem to have them. The button to push that allows the straps to pull out is in the front. It would have been better served to be put in front of the crotch strap because it can be difficult to push when the seat is in the rear faced position.
We would definitely recommend this seat compared to all the others out there. It's comfortable and attractive, not too big, and a reasonable price.

Great bang for your buck!! Very sturdy and has cushion. We bought 2 of them, one for each car. Would've gave 5 stars but 1 didn't have a cup holder and other did.

My son and I were hit by an 18-wheeler on the interstate, and not a thing happened to my little boy. I had many broken bones but he was totally fine! This carseat was installed rear facing in the middle of the back seat and saved him. This is such a great carseat, easy to install, and it can be both rear and forward facing so it grows with them!

I purchased this car seat for our 2nd car. We have a more expensive Britax for our other car. I liked the price of this car seat and didn't want to go with the absolute cheapest one, so this one was a little bit up from that. When the car seat arrived, my first thought was the poor quality of the fabric right out of the box. The black fabric felt like felt that will probably ball up and not wear well. The carseat was fairly tricky to install rear-facing. After adjusting the straps for a 15-mo old (we had a different car seat for her as an infant) and moving the strap to rear facing for the click-in system, I thought I was finally set. But it wouldn't tighten enough to keep the car seat from sliding around like crazy. I was short on time, so I will be studying the owner's manual and trying to install it correctly soon. I was disappointed that it wouldn't install easily in less than 20 mins.

I bought this for my grandson who I babysit during the week. It's lightweight, easy for a grandma to put into her car and use. He seems very happy in it, too. He is 16 months old and just went from the backward facing infant seat to this one.

I bought this seat online without looking at it. I was surprised when I got it home how nice it was and comfortable my grandson was sat in it. The seat is built very strong and made to last. I am glad at my purchase of this product.

Really like this car seat. After several weeks of searching and reading lots of reviews I picked this one. Best car seat for the cost and has all the safety features I was looking for. Directions were simply and easy to follow and installing in my car was a breeze. The little seems much happier in this car seat.

i got this for my son and i love how cool it is..i love that its easy to a adjustable straps and the fact that its easy to clean. i also love how light weight it is because my boyfriend and i share it between are 2 cars and it fits so nice in them.

This seat looks really comfortable to my son. It's great for rear facing and forward facing. REALLY great price. It seems comparable to the more expensive brands, but a LOT cheaper.
