I bought this because it is advertised that its extremely versitile. It does work good as an upright I will give it that much but as a canister..... lets say I tried to clean the car and its a nightmere. The hose is ultra stiff and extremely short, 6 ft I think, so it constantly tips. the wand is a fixed curve thats sort of bulky in smaller spaces. I figured if I could at least get an extension hose it might work. I called the company and they dont make an extension hose to fit it at all. If you just want this as an upright its good but if you want it to clean your cars, dust celing fans things like that because of the short ultra stiff hose its just horrible.

I have had my Electrolux for at least 27 years and it is dying. I will fix it but I needed a vacuum now...I have two kitties and a yellow lab...I vacuum every day! After researching and reviewing I bought this. I was torn but a Walnart worker told me I could return within three months. I immediately bought it. Love it. It sucked up so hair and I am so impressed. Love it - the only negative is the cord is way too short. I had to go buy an extension cord so I could vacuum without unplugging for every room. And I don't have a huge house. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

Easy to assemble . Lightweight . I like this vacuum a lot better then my kirby and my dyson. I couldnt believe all the dirt other two left in my carpets. Very powerful I highly recommend and its not as pricey as Kirby and Dyson and outperforms!

I'm absolutely in love with this vacuum, and I'll never go back to another brand!! We just bought our first Shark upright vacuum, and it is outstanding. We had a handheld Shark pet vacuum that was a wedding gift, and it was the only one that would get up my dog's hair out of the carpet. The $500 Roomba couldn't do it, nor could the other Bissell I had. Based on the great reviews we tried the Shark navigator, and it is a dream come true! The suction is so powerful, and it actually got all of the stubborn pet hair out of our carpet, along with a TON of dust and everything else that the other vacuums had missed! The canister filled up twice just in our living room, and the brand new Roomba had just run the day before. I love the swivel, it allows you to reach so much farther under furniture, and much more easily. It is lightweight and easy to use, the lift-off canister is a great idea, and we can't wait to use the hard floor cleaner. We also love how the canister empties from both the top and bottom, it eliminates you having to reach around in there and pull the dirt/hair/etc. out by hand. You can't beat this value, this is the best vacuum I've ever owned. Definitely buy a Shark, especially if you have pets! You won't regret it - we actually enjoy vacuuming now, believe it or not!

I am having some health problems so I ordered a SHARK vacuum on Walmart.com and the whole experience was totally trouble free. Shipping was free and it was delivered right to my door. I received the item quickly and the handling of it is sooooo much lighter than the Exectrolux, that I've had for many years. It has suction like no other vacuum I've ever seen before. A couple of accessories were missing from the box? But, I have no doubt that Walmart.com will correct the problem, as soon as I notify them.

Light-weight and easy to maneuver. This sweeper is narrower than the one it replaced, which means it can get under some of my furniture that my old vacuum couldn't because it was too wide. Very powerful suction. When I moved my dog crate to vacuum under it, this Shark's suction was stong enough that it fluffed up the pile so that you couldn't tell something had been sitting on the carpet. Also much easier to clean than my old wind tunnel sweeper. With the old one I had to take the top off of the collection chamber, pull out the filter, bang that against the waste basket to loosen the dirt and then dump the dirt out of the chamber. With the Shark, I just have to push the tab that opens the bottom of the collection chamber and the dirt falls out easily. The filter for my old sweeper had to be replaced frequently, and these were very expensive. The Shark has filters that can be washed and reused, which is a great money saver.

Loved the vacuum! Only downfall is the dusting attachment... the expandable hose does not extend very much, and cannister falls over easily.
GREAT SUCTION. works well on both carpet and tile floors. Loved being able to transition easily.

We thought about getting the Dyson but was not thrilled with the price. Looked at reviews for the Shark and thought we would give it a try. We have two Pugs and were amazed at the hair and dirt that came out of the carpet. I love, love, love this machine!!!!

I got this vac online only to find out that the cord was ten feet shorter than my Eureka vac and that there was no headlight to see those hard to see areas. I also compared how it picked up debris and the Eureka did a much better job. Since I have 4 cats I wanted a Shark Vac for their advanced filter technology that captures almost ALL allergens.
The good news for Shark vacs I got the Shark Rotator and WAS VERY PLEASED; a 30 foot cord like my old vac, Headlights which I need and utilize and great pickup of debris. Not a lift away vac but well worth the extra $20 !
The Rotator has a long hose eliminating my need for a lift-away model.

Got tired of hauling my original Lift-Away upstairs and down, so splurged on the NV355 for our larger downstairs. Inhales the massive shedding from my yellow lab and would probably suck up the cat if she got too close! Does everything it promised, though the cord is still shorter than I'd like. You can't have everything, though. Great value and performance.

I bought this vacuum because I was amazed it had almost a perfect 5 star rating. I've had it for almost a year now and I still love it. It almost never clogs and when it does there are many spots to dis-attach the hose and get stuff out. I have very long hair that ends up all over the floor. My other vacuum never picked it up. This one gets it all up. It does wrap around the roller and I have to cut it off almost every other time I vacuum but it's so worth it. As soon as I cut it off it works great again and keeps picking up all my crazy hair. It maneuvers well. The head pivots letting me get under the couch a little further than I used to. I also love the attachments. They're easy to get on and off and do a fine job. I think the suction on the attachments is fine. It was worth a little more for the professional navigator just to get the floor cleaning attachment. I don't even sweep anymore. I always clean my kitchen with the attachment and it looks great. One other thing I used to hate about cleaning the filters on vacuums is that they always seem to smell bad forevermore afterward. I haven't had that issue with this one. The filters dry well enough not to mildew or smell bad. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good vacuum. The cord length has been fine for me. The hose length is a little small but it really doesn't bug me. I actually like my vacuum better than my mom's Dyson.
