The Toshiba Canvio 320GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive works just fine on my Windows 7 64-bit desktop computer. Simply plug it in, wait a few seconds for Windows to recognize the device, and you are ready to go. It is sleek looking, quiet, small and transfers files reasonably fast. The included USB cable is rather short.

Didn't have to do a thing, but plug it in. My laptop recognized it immediatly. I put my movies, pictures, and everything I didn't want to lose on it. Backed up my laptop on it. Sweet!!!

Can't beat the price or the Gigabytes per Dollar. OK, it's not the latest USB 3.0, but this pocket size hard drive is perfect for backup and transferring large media files.
