I like wearing them, but can not find them anywhere (Walmart), so guess it does not matter how good they are?

Review 2 for Ozark Trail Men's Bandy Waterproof Hiker
Great for the price, but TOO waterproof.

I bought these 10 months ago for scout campouts, so generally wear for a weekend a month and a week-long summer camp. So haven't tested under constant, long-term wear, but have hiked mountains and much rocky terrain and they have held up perfectly. No quality issues with soles or seams. Love the fit, love the style. My only issue with them is that they are TOO WATERPROOF. Admittedly, haven't worn them in very wet weather, so have not tested if water would seep in if walking in deep puddles. But my feet get wet wearing them in dry weather, as they don't breathe at all and my feet quickly get sweaty. After wearing all day at summer camp in Colorado, my wool socks would be almost soaking wet.
These are my first waterproof hiking boots, so I guess it is just a factor of a lower priced product. Breathable waterproof linings must only be in more expensive boots. My previous boots would just get wet throughout, and not that big of a deal, as long as you're not wearing cotton socks and it's not too cold. Thought these would be better. But instead of having wet feet when it rains, I have wet feet every time I wear them -- even when it's dry out.
So, while it could be bearable to have damp, stinky feet, I think I'm going to look for some slightly more pricey waterproof boots.

Review 4 for Ozark Trail Men's Bandy Waterproof Hiker
I personally would like the uppers to be softer and not rub my legs above the ankle. I expect this is normal. I am a casual wearer of hiking boots.

I am on my third pair of these boots. The first pair lasted the longest: 1 1/2 years. The second came apart at the seams near the bend of the foot after about 8 monthes. But overall, great boots for the price. Warm, comfortable and pretty decent.

Detasselling
,

Used these boots for detasselling. Good comfort and usability- good for a $40 boot. The main problem was that after about one week of wearing the upper and lower parts of the removable insole came apart, making these very uncomfortable to wear and pretty much impossible to repair. I would be much happier with these boots if walmart would sell me replacement insoles for them.

What a shame...the site won't let me give this product a 'no star'. Purchased a pair of these in May and by mid July they fell apart...literally. Used to be I would get 9-12 months out of a pair of Wal-mart boots...apparently not anymore. I'll be shopping somewhere else from now on.

This is "The Boot" for growing boy scouts / Hikers

I got these for my boy when he was 12, bought them a little large and used heavy wool socks. He wore them to many 6, 7 mile rocky hikes, hiking 14ers, week long summer camp, subzero winter camps, pouring rain camps. etc. In all cases these exceeded expectations and are still fine but he's outgrown them. Honestly, we've bought boots three times the price that didn't come near this quality. Very comfortable in all conditions, very waterproof, very good traction and wear. You can't go wrong.
