The box the bed will come in is very long and heavy. You'll need some help.
The instructions are adequate but could use some improvements.
Ex. when your looking at a piece to put together, it does not describe which side of the piece your looking at. for instance, smooth side or raw. Inside or out. Only way to figure it out is to look at the holes orientation and match it up with the actual piece.
Other than that, it comes together well, looks good and is very sturdy.

This bed frame met our expectations very well. It is not overly large for the room.
The three drawers are roomy. Only complaint is the drawers could have had knobs on them. We got some nice ones to put on it and they worked out well.

We bought this bed for our 17 yr old son. My son and I noticed that it has some different color wood pieces which puzzled us. We has a few slightly scuffed pieces but other than that it was all good. It took us 3 to almost 4 hrs to put together I used wood glue ,which( DID NOT come with the bed) my son had to use the black marker that came with the bed a few times. Other than that it came together pretty nice. It is cheaply made thin pieces of wood and the tracks for the drawers are plastic. I just hope this bed holds up for our son.

I ordered this bed several weeks ago still not together. When I opened it 2 pieces were badly damaged. Didn't seem to be from shipping. Customer service was good sent out replacement pieces only to discover I missed a damaged piece and am still waiting for that piece.

Lots of dings/nicks on the wood discovered upon opening this product. Plastic flimsy pieces used in drawer assembly make assembling easy, if they didn't break so often. May need to tack some areas and that would be easier if the wood itself was more than composite. I think with this product its hit or miss.
I put this product together by myself within an 8 our time frame with distractions from my toddler and little one, but I have experience putting things together. It Should be put together by Two people and there are quite a few areas that are irritating/annoying. Just saying.

I have purchased many home furniture items which required assembly. This bed was the EASIEST!!! Directions were super easy to follow, all predrilled holes aligned (rare to find this!) and I was able to assemble the item solo. (directions suggested 2 people)
The bed was purchased for my teenage daughter and she loves how the bed looks in her Parisian themed room. The drawers are very spacious.

Don't let anyone scare you off from buying this bed because they thought the instructions were hard. We followed the instructions slowly and it still only took about an hour and a halfto build. It's very sturdy. Clean and simple. Very happy with my purchase.

This did come in a lot of pieces, and the instructions were a challenge with no writing. However, I did get it together by myself. The only problem was the drawer bottoms were missing from the package, and I had to write to the south shore company to get them. They did say they will send them free of charge, but will take 20 business days!? You would think they could rush a shipment being it was their mistake.
Just remember on the instructions, that if the drawing lines are bold, it is the finished side, and if the lines are light, it is the unfinished side.
Still like the bed a lot.

We bought two of these beds for our camp and really liked the fact that they had drawers so we didn't need a dresser taking up space. We didn't find them difficult to put together and thought the instructions were adequate. It only took about an hour each. They are very sturdy and functional. Loved that you don't need a boxspring and bought memory foam mattresses that work great with it. Drawers are pretty smooth. We were very pleased and think they were a great bargain.

My boyfriend and I bought this bed over another bed at ikea because it cost less and needed something quick. We wanted one with drawrs for smoe extra space in the room. I do love the design. Sleek, black, and shiny. However, it was very difficult to assemble. The drawers are hard to open. They aren't as bigs as they appear! So much smaller. The wood looks very cheap. If your looking for something quick and easy sure. Especially for a guest bedroom. Not for a kid. They might break it, in less time than it took to ship. Choose a better bed for the master bedroom. take your time. If you're on a budget save up, this bed is not worth it.

Takes a long time to put together. You really need two people. Also, if you don't have a full screwdriver kit, you will need one. I never knew what a robertson (square head) screwdriver was until this bed.

While the end result was nice, the bed comes in a million pieces and the instructions are AWFUL! If you have a fiend that's good at looking at obscure drawings to figure out what goes where, then this isn't an issue.
