On a few occasions several keys would not work requiring me to unplug keyboard. Mouse eventually stopped working. I am Fairly computer literate. When it worked it did a great job.

You get what you pay for...

Pros: Batteries were included. It works.
Cons: Barely.
I created an account just so I could share my terrible experience with this product.
I got this as a gift this past Christmas. I asked for a wireless keyboard & mouse combo because I was building a Home Theater PC for our new living room TV and wanted to save some cash. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, but I'm now considering returning it even though I would only end up getting store credit by this point.
The advertised range is 30 feet but in reality anything more than 8 feet caused problems. I had to make sure that the USB receiver was plugged into the front of the PC because the extra distance from plugging it into the back was enough to cause reception issues when used from the couch. Even when using it in close proximity, the accuracy of the mouse is absolutely terrible. It skips around and is nearly impossible to move the mouse pointer with any accuracy. There is also noticeable input delay in both the keyboard and the mouse. The keyboard also had the tendency to skip characters when typing, and it happened so often it was incredibly annoying. It may be because the batteries began to go, but it only got light use before this began to happen severely. Some people reported dying batteries after only a couple weeks of use, and since there is no off switch on the keyboard itself there is no way to preserve battery life without pulling out the batteries when not in use.
Some people also reported that WiFi Internet could cause interference, and that may also be the case here, but our wireless router is in the office on the opposite end of the house, and we have nothing in the living room running on the WiFi, it's all hardwired Ethernet cables. We do pick up a handful of WiFi networks from neighbors in the living room, so it may still be a cause.
In the end, I ended up ordering a Logitech wireless keyboard and a separate wireless trackball mouse for about $130 online, and they work WORLDS better right out of the box. No input lag, no interference issues, so you definitely get what you pay for here.

Worst wireless keyboard ever owned.

I have been using computers for 25+ years and have been building them for 17+. I purchased the ONN wireless mouse and keyboard and while it was plug and play and I have no issues with the mouse, the keyboard is absolute garbage. Keys stick, do not register (hard to write this review) and the backspace key is hard to find due to its small size. I have owned 100's of keyboards (I build computers) and this is by far one of the smallest but, it is garbage. Walmart offers another combo by HP for just a few dollars more. BUY THAT ONE INSTEAD. Trust me. I own the HP combo and it works, but this keyboard is trash

Horrible investment

I'm a college student who has to type quite a bit and purchased this keyboard because I'm on a pretty tight budget and typing on my laptop at my desk for prolonged periods of time is highly uncomfortable. So seeing as how it wasn't a super expensive set and it only needed one receiver for both the keyboard and the mouse I though "Hey, why not?" Big mistake. It's advertised as a "plug and go" system and I'm here to tell you that it's plugged in, but it ain't going. The mouse connected fine, but the keyboard, after countless attempts (and using the instructions), still will not connect to the receiver. Even just playing around typing random things that aren't showing up on my screen, because ya know, it's not working, I can tell that some of the keys and especially the space bar are sticking. The mouse is also lacking. As a 18 year old female my hands are on the smaller side, and attempting to use this mouse comfortably is no easy task. The mouse itself is tiny, and if I think its too tiny to use I would hate to see a grown man try and use it or even a woman with longer fingers. Also, to use the mouse you will need a mouse pad because after trying with no such luck on a normal wooden surface the mouse would not work and only added to my frustration. The best thing about this product? It came with it's own batteries. But I won't be keeping this keyboard or mouse set long enough to realize how annoying even those are. In my honest opinion steer far away from this product. Far far away. I will buy some extra Ramen Noodles for this month just to upgrade to a better keyboard that actually works.

As I am typing this I have to fix every other letter. The keyboard starts to die a day after new batteries. The keys don't register. It is a nightmare trying to sign into anything with a password!! It is not worth the hassle. I am buying a corded keyboard to replace it :-(

This keyboard and mouse set is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. The mouse would stutter during movement, and the keyboard repeatedly missed keystrokes, even after placing fresh batteries in both. Spend a little more money and buy a logitech or hp keyboard and mouse desktop set instead.

I bought this set because it was the cheapest one at my Wal-Mart. After only two weeks, the mouse wheel broke. I took it apart to see if maybe it just came loose, but the plastic axle was completely broken. Other than that, it worked pretty well. The keyboard has a 1-2 second delay when you start typing after not using it for a while. The "backspace" button should be bigger and it takes some time getting used to using it without looking at the keyboard. I agree with other reviewers that this set can potentially be an extremely poor product, depending on your luck of the draw. At this price it should last longer. This is not a "you get what you paid for" price, in my opinion. I don't like giving one star reviews, but a product that breaks this soon deserves it.

I recently purchased this product at my local walmart.I thought i was getting a great deal and was excited to try something new. From day 1 I have had to change batteries constantly(the good batteries from radeo shack)The mouse constantly floats all over the screen on its own and you have to often really press hard on the keyboard to get it to type.
I plan on going back to the logi tech brand as of today as i have never had a problem with any of there products whatsoever, and they always lasted a long time.

Good thing I didn't read these negative reviews until after I'd purchased! I set up the keyboard and mouse for my laptop which runs Windows Vista and everything works great from twelve to fifteen feet across the living room (haven't tried it farther).
Just plug the little receiver into your computer's usb port, turn on the mouse switch and press a button on mouse and one on keyboard - presto, everything works!

This purchase is a waste of money unless you have an endless supply of batteries. The batteries in the keyboard made it a week, and the ones in the mouse made it an additional 4 days, even though I switched it off when not in use. That's not something I can live with.

Does Not Type!

Returned it immediately. It just does not type correctly, skips some letters and repeats others. I thought it was because of poor reception by the USB nano receiver which was only 5' away, supposed to have 30' range. After reading other reviews here, it might be because of driver problems. Either way it's a shame because board is compact and lightweight and has a good price, but it just DOES NOT WORK!

Dont use with a wireless internet connection

ok, so bought this mouse keyboard set a while ago. dont even use the keyboard anymore because it never worked...kept missing key strokes and such. so i am using the mouse. i like the fact that it has 2 buttons on the side (yes i'm a little bit of a gamer). The mouse seems to be running on most of the same frequencies as my (and i have tried 3 different) wireless router. what happens is the mouse will COMPLETELY STOP MOVING right in the middle of something and then pick right up after a second or 2. I figured it out while my kids were watching a movie via our smart tv (Wireless) and my mouse kept stopping. i have tried to change the frequency on the router and it worked a little...but still interrupts. so if your aren't using wireless router, then its nice. if you are....stay away from this mouse/keyboard combo :(

Excellent package put together by onn.
Keyboard is very smooth and compact to fit pretty much all workspace environments.
Mouse is very smooth and fast when it comes to reacting to movement.
The only thing I had to get used to was the smaller delete key. Everything else was put together and functioned PERFECT.

I purchased this as a replacement for my wired keyboard and tiny wireless mouse. I would have been better off sticking with my old ones, or shelling out the extra ten bucks for a logitech keyboard. The mouse is fine, only issue is the range, but the keyboard is something else. Sometimes, the control, alt, or shift buttons will seem to be stuck, even though the buttons are not pressed. I'm an MMORPG player, so this is a big issue for me. Also, some keys just won't work for a few minutes. So far I've had the "c", "h", and the "v" keys go out for a few minutes at a time. Just before I wrote this they all went out at once. Just stay away from this piece of junk.

This is by far the worst money I have ever spent. I actually made a Wal-Mart online account JUST to warn people about this product. The drivers are sub par, they don't work well with some systems. The board has poor reception and will hold read as holding Ctrl, Alt, and shift down. Its a huge mess to get it off those locks. There are no indicators to tell you whether you have scroll lock, caps lock or even number lock. The mouse is the best part and it still has a few complications. If I could give this a Zero I would, don't waste your time.

Save yourself the gas money to return.
It doesn't work unless you are sitting 10 feet in front of it with your legs wide open; cross your leg so that it (leg) is in-front of the keyboard and it won't work.
I will wait for another k360 - which none seems to be around anywhere. Perhaps because it is good. I can be in the backyard and it will work 40 yards away - through the walls and sheetrock in the house.
Size is good - but useless if it won't work.

Update driver to use with Windows 7, 64 bit comps!

The mouse works great but the driver for the keyboard is too inclusive and will run OS's dating all the way back to Windows 98. You must update from the Microsoft site, changing keyboard properties will not help, otherwise keyboard will skip some letters and then repeat some others, typing is very erratic. With new driver problem is eliminated. Plug and Play will recognize and configure quickly but not update driver. If you are a computer newbie this update may be a tedious task but any mid-level user should be able to do the update in about 3 minutes.
