A must for baby's room, daytime sleepers, or your media den, the Redi Shade 36" x 72" Black Out Shade blocks a whopping 99 percent of sunlight. It installs in less than one minute!
Moved into an apartment that has a half circle window in the master bedroom. While it looks nice, the window lets in way too much light and heat as it faces the afternoon sun here in California all day. Bought 4 of these and stuck two together creating a fan like look to it, then did the same with the other two. Put one in front of the other on the window and what do ya know, it worked like a charm! Mind you, these are paper, so that's why they are so cheap, but they block out all the light and some of the heat. Did not want to invest in anything pricey since this is an apartment, so these were a good buy!

This product is horrible! I installed them as directed and within an hour they fell down and would not stay up again. When they fell they tangled a bit and the sticky part stuck to the blind and they were very difficult to get apart without any tears in the paper that was the blind. They did not darken my room at all and only slightly filtered some of the light. Also with the length they are as they say but because they are accordion style it will not immediately fit a window of that size. I imagine over time they might have "relaxed" to fit the length of my window but since I couldn't keep them up there long enough I will never know. I returned them right away.

Pretty dark and easy to put up, however, if your window faces the sun you need to back up the adhesive with some thumbtacks or pins. Not a big deal considering how cheap these are. Good for short term use or if you can keep the room dark permanently. Folding them up is not too easy but can be done in about 4 minutes and then you clip them into place. Not elegant, but quick and easy and keeps the room pretty dark even with sun directly on the shade. If you need two, let them overlap instead of cutting them even and it keeps it darker.

I bought this to darken my baby's room. It does that, but the curtain always falls down. The tape held for a few days then I found them laying on the floor. If you are buying them so you dont have to put holes in the window frame, dont because you need to use some kind of push pin or little nails to keep them up.

My expensive "light blocking" vertical blinds didn't block out enough light. I doubled these for extra blackout, attached them to a board and hung them up in my extremely sunny bedroom window (which also has streetlights shining in at night). My room is as dark as night ... and I love it!

Basically what this is, is an accordion folded piece of somewhat thick paper-like (not fabric like it says) that applies at the top of the window via an adhesive peel and stick strip. If you were to stick it wrong, you could peel and re-stick, but it's not meant to be taken down and reapplied on a routine basis. It comes with clips that hold it all the way folded up, and basically hidden, when you dont want it covering the window. I have regular blinds and curtains on my windows and also these. My guests would never know they are even there, as they are folded all the way up and clipped, and I only put them down when I need to sleep through the day due to working night shift. They really do filter almost ALL of the light provided you cut them to fit tight on the inside of the window (they are cut-to-fit, and you do this yourself at home based on your own window.) They make the room look completely dark like it's actually dark outside. You wouldnt know by looking at them that they are paper, and they actually look nice and would be fine as a stand-alone window covering instead of having mini blinds. Exceptionally great product for the price, and would highly recommend them!

I will never buy regular blinds again. No damage to the wall, easy to re-stick if you need to adjust, extremely simple and very modern look that will last a considerable amount of time in the right environment.
Possible setbacks / things to consider: The product is made of a big folded sheet of construction paper material. *they don't open and close like regular blinds do, you will have to grab the bottom and refold the blind to desired height & clip it in place to let light in. *Another thing: if it is a high traffic area or you plan to open a window while the blind is on, you will have a problem with possible crinkles in this product or tears should there be a forceful wind or rain etc. * the product loses it's sharp edge / crease after a while so occasionally you should refold clip and leave in place for a while to get that crisp creased look.
If it is for a window you rarely open and that people will rarely brush up against, this is perfect!
I have had mine for about 6 months and am about to go purchase more because they are starting to look a little worn .... but for 5 bucks a piece I think it wont hurt me too much & now that I know how to care for them this batch should last longer.

I am a teacher and these work great for the classroom when you are trying to show a video. They also work great in a rental unit! Leaves no holes and provides privacy and keeps the hot AZ sun from heating up the house. BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME.

I purchased these for my son's room. It does a great job at blocking the light and keeping the room dark. It also gives a neat contemporary/masculine look. It is easy for him to maneuver and is very inexpensive to replace if needed. It almost seems too simple to install but it truly is as easy as it sounds. Peal and stick! Love this product!

I bought these for my son's room, there was no price, but the reviews said they were cheap. So I went to get them, and saw the price, bought 5 of them! They look GREAT!!! The reason I didn't give 5 for 'Meet Expectations' is because they are not sticking like I thought they would. I'm having to use push pins to keep them from falling. My son wasn't napping in his room good, I wasn't sure if it was because it was too bright, so I got these because they say they're black out, I might be wrong, but that to me means they black out all the light. They don't block out ALL of the light. But a good precent of it. But very good product, even thought they fell down, I'm excited to finally have some! I put some on my kitchen window, and bathroom window! LOVE them!

These are great. The price is right. The light blockage is really good. I was skeptical at first, but after installing them in 2 windows, I am completely happy. They stick without any problem, I cut them to the width, and keep the clips on for the length that I might want to change at different times of the day or night. I will be buying at least 3 more on my next visit. NO light gets through the material, but the edge is not seamless, so some minimal light does get through on the sides. I can certainly live with that.
