TV is ok if you want to buy a new one in 2-4 years

I bought the Mitsubishi DLP TV 4 years ago now. I bought the 3 year extended warranty also. Good thing I did because at 26 months the bulb went out. Over $200 if I had to buy it. A year later we noticed a white spot in the middle of the TV. I googled it and found out others are having the same problem. Everything I could find says it is the light engine going bad. This is a little better than $1000 to replace. For that price I will just buy a new LED TV. Don't buy any DLP unless you are prepared to spend just as much in about 2-4 years.

Awesome TV, incredible picture. Love it! The only problem I have is that I think if you are going to spend that much on a tv and it is set up for 3d it should come with at least 2-4 pairs of glasses. Also I think it should be ready for the internet without the purchase of an internet adapter. By the time you purchase glasses and the internet adapter its another $500.00. I have not yet tried the internet or 3d due to these items needed and have not received yet. I hope that is all I need to buy and there won't be any other hidden expense. It would help to have a list of items you must have to enjoy all aspects of this tv.

No wi-fi no worry

No it does not have wi-fi built in but dont let that stop you from buying the huge tv... just go out and buy a $99 blu-ray player that has wi-fi and all the apps you will need for video/music/streaming, you are going to need one anyways to enjoy the HD or if you are a gamer you probably already have them all on your PS3

This is the best deal I have came across in a long time! Picture is better then we even expected. It is the best Tv I have ever owned and a great price. I am a very Happy Customer. I cant wait to get the 3D set up. Very easy to set up also.
