The Black & Decker 5.0 cu ft Chest Freezer is ENERGY STAR-qualified and features a space-saving flat back design for easy placement in your kitchen or garage. Holding approximately 175lbs of frozen food, this small chest freezer is equipped with heavy duty spring hinges for years of durable, reliable use. The removable vinyl-coated basket gives you the option to compartmentalize your frozen goods, and the front thermostat control helps you keep an eye on the temperature. This chest freezer is perfect for stocking up on meat, fish, vegetables or anything else you'd like to freeze for future use.

This is exactly what I needed! I can stock up on frozen foods (lots of room!) and keep the kitchen fridge/freezer for the handy frozen snacks that everyone craves this summer. Definitely refer it to anyone who needs to stock up on meats, etc, as it is compact enough for my kitchen, yet big enough to fill er up!

The freezer arrived at Site to Store 5 days early. I was thrilled. We brought it home and were able to unpack it and set it in place with no trouble. Waited 24 hours to plug it in, as the store had it setting on its side. When we plugged it in, it started right up and chilled to temp quickly. We have had it filled about a week and no problems. Great price, great shipping, great product.

Just received my freezer and it is a great size for my small family! It was a little shorter/smaller than I expected but it will do the trick. It stands about 3ft hight by 2 1/2 across and will fit enough food to keep us feed for awhile! It is not noisy and think will be a great money saver down the road!!

A little costly for the size, but it was what I wanted, I have been wanting to purchase a chest freezer but I didn't need the larger ones that most retailers seem to only have to offer. Thank goodness for Walmart.com, I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. It was promised to be delivered one day and it actually was able to be delivered a day early. Great quality and service.

Exactly what I was looking for AND DELIVERED ON TIME IN THE SNOW! Perfect size to have that extra room to store freezer items! Love it! SEARS wanted to charge me $100 for the same size freezer to be delivered less than a mile away! This freezer was cheaper and so was the shipping!

I LOVE this freezer! I like that it fits in a small space. It holds 175 lbs. of food, which is great for a single person, or small family. It runs very quietly. It looks very nice and is very well made. Not only does it have the standard one year limited warranty, it has a 5 year warranty on the sealed components as well. The price could not be beat. Black and Decker makes quality products. I am so glad Walmart offers this freezer!

I am using this freezer as a refrigerator for our off-grid home. I employed a seperate thermostat control to shut off the unit when the appropriate temperature is reached. Works great and uses only 100 watts of electricity a day - less than 1/10th of an energy star rated refrigerator.

The item was delivered as promised which was great BUT it did have a fairly large dent on the side of it near the temp adjuster which was NOT pretty. I would have returned it for a new one but my husband refused to repack it and haul it back to Walmart since we had it delivered to our home. It freezes great so I guess there's no need to swap it out although I wish it would have come without the dent since it was over $200 with the warranty plan.....
Nonetheless, I would recommend the item- it is definitely doing its job so I'm glad we purchased it!!

I would recommend this deep freeze to anyone. It fits in most locations and has not disappointed me since I bought it. I am a single mom with a growing teenager, brother and father who stay with me and they are some meat and potatoes kind of guys and this deep freeze really helps to feed them fully healthy meals. I can buy when meat goes on sale and I can stack up and this helps me save money.
