I had purchased this Innovative Tab for my 3 year old who absolutely loves it. Most of her attention goes into her tablet. She gets to learn as she's playing. Would strongly suggest investing into if you haven't already its worth the $$

I bought this for my daughter's third birthday. She loves it. I don't think there's a part of the innotab that she hasn't explored and loved. We were even able to find some free songs to download to our memory card for it. Only dislike is how it uses up batteries but we bought the plug and that helps. I would say if your child likes a smart phone then he/she will love an innotab.

My kids are thrilled with the innotab. Perfect for little ones. The only draw back is it sucks the life right out of batteries right away. Definately buy the adapter because it does not come with it.

Just bought 2 of these tabs for my kids last month... my daughter loves her and took it everywhere. She accidentally cracked the screen so I called Vtech customer support and they told me it was her fault for her carelessness and that the warranty was void. I explained to them that I understood and did not want to use the warranty just wanted it repaired. They told me they don't do repairs and that my daughter's innotab was now a piece of garbage and was no longer good and I have to buy a new one!!! HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE REPAIRS ON CHILDREN'S PRODUCTS?!?!? Adults crack and break iphone screens and they are able to get repaired... you expect me to believe a child won't crack a screen!?!?! Ridiculous! I will not buy this product again!!!

My daughter loves this tablet! I did my research between the Innotab and the others on the market and hands down this takes the cake! It has so much you can do with it I haven't even figured it all out yet! I love the idea you can buy game cartridges and get apps off the internet. I thought about getting the new one with the camera but this is definately enough for my 3 year old. And we can always ask Santa for the VTech Kidizoom Plus digital camera for Christmas!

Just make sure she doesn't crack the screen... my daugther just cracked hers and I called Vtech, they don't repair it or replace!!

All my children ages 3 to 9 love this product. They call it their own iPad. I need to get another one because I'm tired of playing referee. Only downside is that it sucks the life out of the batteries very fast. I bought an ac adapter and that solved that problem.

We bought this for our daughter and she loved it but we had to replace batteries after very little use. Then the screen broke and the whole thing would not work. The company told me they can't control how it is used. So, if you are buying for a child, it is not good. There is no warranty and the company will not stand by the product. I was with my daughter when it broke and her "usage" was fine!!!!! Really a waste of money!!!!!

very good toy,good learning thing for kids,i love it,my kids love it,i bought 2 of them,blue and pink for 5 and 3 years old,i have 1 account on my name when download games ,e-readers ,art,music...etc. and it's great deal when pay 1 download but can put on both toys ,i mean 1 price,i like it !! ,easy to download,each tablet comes with 3 downloads(save$10 or close),i see innotab2 comes with camera and more little things but for little kids they don't need that yet,the 1st innotab is just fine.only they suck batteries so fast.better buy rechargable batteries or adapter.if have trouble download at first just go search around to see what othermoms fix...not too bad..it's great buy.(the other brand ipad or something they're cost too much and pricey to download ,they cost more too)

I am pretty happy with this so far except for maybe 2 things.
1. Battery life is a JOKE. It doesn't come with a charger so you have to buy one. I ordered one off Ebay that included a car charger and it was much cheaper that way.
2. I thought more apps would be on there. I have yet to get online with it but still. Not much loaded.

I bought these for my 7 year old son and my 5 year old daughter. They both enjoy playing with it. They think of it as their iPads. I like the functionality of the touch screen and the learning games available. It is great that you can add a memory card that holds many games at a time. I wish the downloads were cheaper. They are a bit pricey between $2 and $6. I also wish the downloadable games had more variety. It seems there are a lot of games that are the same concept but with different theme. Like help the penguin around the ice is the same as help the dog find his doghouse. There are also like 4 versions of find what is different in the picture. I also wish they offered foreign language downloads. There is also a money counting game but the pictures of the money are not realistic. The dimes, nickels quarters etc just have a number and do not look like real money. The purchase price of items is also unrealistic like paying $20 for a bouncy ball. Also, the battery life is only about 4 hours! The A/C adapter will let you play without batteris but will not charge the tablet. Careful, although sturdy the sreen scratches. Invest in a case.

My husband and I got her the innotab for her 4th birthday and she loves it! She learns and loves to share with us what she has learned. I haven't even plugged it in to check her progess yet but Im sure that will be great as well. Very good buy, specially for the price. It's fairly speedy and has a great resolution.

My daughter received this as a gift for Christmas. She loved it and played with it almost everyday, but had to input date and time upon turning power on. Eventually she got very tired and frustrated and refused to play with it for months. So there sat this nearly $100 game collecting dust. I decided to look up online whether other parents experienced this problem and found that there were quite a few. Apparently this was a defect with the Innotab and their experience was most often that Vtech replaced their units. Once replaced, it worked great. So, I decided to contact Vtech and get this resolved. I was told that it was probably user error and that maybe I should try to change a battery, at my expense. I asked if they would just send me replacement battery and was told that they don't keep it in stock. I then asked if they would at least reimburse as nearly $100 was already spent on this, to which they responded "NO." They obviously weren't going to work with me. So, I decided to write them an email and it's been over a month and I still have not heard from them.
Needless to say, I will never buy another product made by Vtech and will tell you not to waste your money. I went against my better judgment and requested this product over the Leapfrog Leappad because I thought my daughter would enjoy the music over the camera, which by the way, we've also had issues with downloading music and apps onto Innotab. That's the last dime those people will make money off of me. I'm so disappointed!!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves this! She loves to play with my parents real tablet, so I thought this would be a great toy for her. I like the variety of games both sold in stores and that are available to download for 99 cents each. My only complaint is that the batteries don't last long, but there are adapters sold for both the car and the wall which work great.

i bought this for my four year old granddaughter for her birthday and she will love this toy, because it has everything she loves to do, art, games, music and she can look at the family pictures. She will love the book reading and being able to use the typing feature. This toy will help me also, because it will keep her busy for hours.

I was initially hesitant bc of the reviews about the battery consumption but really your child(ren) shouldn't use this as their only form of education, entertainment...
We are ending a road trip of 14 hours each way and a week long vacation and I changed the batteries 2x!
Only with Vtech had more games available for older kids my daughter is 6 and brilliant so the games for up to age 7 are way easyeasy for her so I hope they come out with more of the 7+ age range!

The InnoTab really caught my daughter's attention and is very helpful in educating her. The only downside is the battery life. We had to purchase an adapter the second day of having it. If you don't wanna purchase an adapter, rechargeable batteries might be a better option. This is overall a great buy. I would recommend it to anyone !!!

My parent's got my daughter an InnoTab for Christmas. I did a lot of research and we chose this over the LeapPad. I wish now we had picked the LeapPad. As soon as we opened the InnoTab, there was screen damage, like it had been wet. It still worked and we let her play with it (she got it for Christmas, of course she wanted to play with it!) We couldn't find another one at ANY Walmart to exchange it for so we called VTech. They sent a replacement InnoTab after about a month.
My daughter sits beside me when she plays with it and I watch her closely. She isn't rough with it and thoroughly enjoys it. ONE WEEK after receiving the replacement, we put new batteries in it, and the screen flashes and the device won't turn on. These things really eat up batteries but the toy is so great that we were never really concerned. Tried 3 sets of batteries with same flashing results and called VTech again. After troubleshooting, he determined the device was defective. They told me to send them InnoTab #2 and they will send us #3. The problem...#3 won't be in stock until mid May.
I think it's ridiculous that my kid has to wait until May to get to play with her Christmas present. If #3 turns out to be a flop, we will just get our money back and try the LeapPad.
