Liked the specs and decided to take a chance on a "no-name" desktop PC. We have owned it since July 2011 and we love it! It runs quiet, fast, does everything we throw at it (we watch TV thru it, play games, music, browse the web, email, etc.), and it has never given us a problem at all. I highly recommend this PC and this brand. Also, I called CyberPower to ask a question about hooking up our TV to it and their Tech Support was very helpful and friendly, and I didn't have to wait but a couple of minutes on hold.

Its a good starting computer if your into gaming. I got mine next day after ordering it and was happy with what I got, though after a week of use the power supply unit fizzled out and I'm currently waiting on a new power supply from the computer maker. Other than that lil problem I ran into this computer is perfect start to someones gaming experience

Bought to replace a quad core Intel that bit the dust. I'm mostly a gamer and this one plays them all at max settings with no stutter or lag at all. Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 both are running at max settings. 8 USB ports so room enough for all the add on connections. Extremely quiet under all loads. The temperature readings on the front panel is nice and the cover looks like it will keep the dust out of the drive bay openings. The case size is large so it does take up a lot of desk space. Keyboard is cheap but you can use an old one or replace it for next to nothing. Wish it had more memory but there is room for expansion. Windows 7 scores are 7.5 for everything but the hard drive and that is 5.8. All in all very happy with the purchase.

Th is computer far exceeded my expectations as it booted up and ran just fine right out of the box. My old emachines is also a great computer but not made for gaming, this is best gaming system I could have gotten for the price and it plays the higher end games like Aion with all settings all the way up, the only problem I've had is that the keyboard keys started sticking on the 3 day of use and i will be replacing it soon!

A great computer, it runs Starcraft II on high settings no problem, but for games like Arma II, I have to turn the settings way down, and put the res at 800x600 to get 40fps. Already looking to buy a better video card for this system.

I was looking for a replacement for my grandson's 6 year old Dell that had a Intel single core 3.2 GHz Pentium , 4 gig of ram , with on board graphics. He mostly plays online games , you tube, a little school work ! I ordered this site to store on Sunday got a text Friday it was in. Fed Ex ground Ca. to Fla. After initial set up loading a few programs and print driver. I was impressed by the speed and video quality of this sub $400 Computer. I loaded a Fate game for my grandson to play awesome graphics for what some would call a low end gaming machine. Granted it probably would struggle with or not be able to play some more graphic intensive games. His father has a Dell Quad core XPS gamer. And he also was playing Fate on it asking my what I paid for it ! Could not believe it was nearly one third the cost of his... It preforms better than expected, looks great, has a built in night light (probably not the intent) with a switch in the back to turn off. I figured it may require some upgrades from the start like a better graphics card and another 4 gig of memory. I believe I can put that on hold for now! May need upgrade down the road for some games...

This is an incredible system for such a low price. Finally, you don't need to spend a fortune on a very good gaming rig.
I am playing Crysis on High quality with this system. Enough said!!!
You can not go wrong. Not only is it powerful for some high end gaming, but it is aesthetically beautiful and just awesome to look at.
BUY THIS SYSTEM!!!

Desktop was certainly worth the price. Have swapped the ATI Video card for my old Nvidia although the ATI was adequate. I like the USB ports and headphone jack at the "top" of he tower.

My boyfriend bought this computer for me and it's a really good computer. The graphics on this are incredible and it can easily be upgraded later. We shopped this purchase extensively and other computers with the same graphics cards and similar specs were more than double in price else where. This is the computer to get if you want a good computer for playing games like Sims or designing graphics.

Hi, Do you play the sims 3 on this with all the current expansions? I am probably going to buy this in 2 weeks and I am worried it may not handle it well, any thoughts? I would very much appreciate any feedback on this :)

Purchased this a week ago and is what i am using currently its a good desktop, haven't had any problems except for the video card. The video card, if you enjoy playing games, i recommend investing in a more advanced video card. If you don't play games, this is an easy buy especially because its a simple hook up and lets face it, it look pretty awesome with the inside lighting.

I bought this to replace an older (approx. 2yrs), Dell computer that had died. I have to say I love it. It's so much faster than I expected, has loads of hard drive space, plenty of memory, and as a plus it looks good! The lights double as a night light during use, giving off a relaxing ambient tone without being obtrusive. There is also a switch to turn off the lights if you'd prefer not to use them. I am a medium gamer and find it loads and plays all my games without any issues whatsoever. There is also a turbo boost switch if you wanted to push it even further, though I haven't used nor needed to use it at this point. I think it's a great deal if you're looking for something on the less expensive side that will perform for the average, or slightly above average person's use. The only thing I would add is that I didn't receive a handbook on general use of the computer. I did get a detailed book on the mother board which is helpful for settings and such. On a last note, it has an extra large case with plenty of room for future upgrades and pre drilled holes for miscellaneous additions. I would say this is one of the best computers for the money that I've used thus far.

Review 18 for CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA120 Desktop PC with AMD Athlon II X2 260 Processor, ATI Radeon HD 6450 1GB VGA Card and Windows 7 Home Premium
I bought this pc tower on a decision I really did not feel like contributing time and effort looking for bargain parts to build my own. I have read many reviews and articles about cyberpower pcs in which I decided to ignore. The pc tower was what I expected at first glimpse, just as described until windows needed to be validated. After verification, the operating system(Windows 7) proved to be non-legit copy of windows meaning most functions of windows would not be available such as updates and use of functions limited. Perhaps it was a sly mistake. Immediately I returned this product considering I'd have to spend an additional $100+ to pass validation. I do not recommend this for anyone unless you are aware and do not mind having to install your own copy of windows onto it.

Sorry but you are wrong!
Posted 07/20/2011
I will be honest it told me the same thing when you run through the installation but once you go into start/computer/system properties just click "Validate" (of course with an internet connection...) it was validated and presto! It worked fine for me! Although they should of already had it validated but oh well! All you need is an internet connection and your good.

I was concerned about noise given it is dubbed a "gamer" model but it is very quiet. All the connections you would need for HTPC, dorm pc etc. Don't let the fact that it's a dual core make you think it's slow as 95% of all you'll do with this computer is optimized for dual core processing. Quad cores can't process it any faster.
