I bought one about three years ago for myself. Barring a few accidents, it has been working just fine. Now I buying another for my 9 year old son. He has been sharing with me for the the last couple of years, he knows how to use it better than me. it is good for work or play, and I do both with mine. You will need a cooling fan if you plan on playing complicated games or running videos, I do recommend investing in one. Otherwise it is a very good laptop. I do plan on buying a new one, only because I want a bigger screen.

Received laptop as promised in good condition. So far the only thing that bothers me is that when you're typing, sometimes the cursor jumps to another location or you end up not typing anything at all. Can be a little annoying but manageable. Other than that, so far I'm glad I went with the HP.

Bought this a couple months ago for school and work. I love it! it has plenty of power to run several programs at one and even plays games like bf2 on medium settings very well. I only have one complaint, the key board! to hit any of the F1-F12 keys u have to hit the fn (function key) every time, I'm sure there is some way to lock it though I just havent figured it out yet. Overall Great Laptop!

I absolutely love this computer and have had no problems thus far, I purchased it about a month
ago. It is lightweight, processor is fast, and love Windows 7. Does everything I want it to do.
As I am retired I don't use for office purposes, but shopping online, looking at videos, web
surfing, etc. it is great. Would recommend to anyone and the price was very reasonable.

The computer is great for the speed, storage, and the amount of RAM. Plenty of USB port on both sides. The HDMI is a plus for hooking up to the big screen. So far the PC stay really cool in this hot room. The added software for setting up the PC out of the box was great!
I would by another one for the girlfriend if I had the bucks. I would recommend this PC to others.

I bought this laptop in a Wal Mart bundle with a printer and a few other things for around 650. The laptop is the best part of the deal. It picks up wireless internet really well and has a fast connection and surfing speed. THe only complaints I have are small (like in the beginning of this sentence, I left the TH capitalized because this shift button does that almost every time you start a new sentence) and I also don't like how the mousepad clicks on things even when you don't want to. It's hyper-sensitive.

I ordered this laptop for my son who is a Junior in High School. He is not technically saavy and he was able to set it up on his own. He loves it. It allows him to listen to all his music, watch videos and of course, do homework. This was a great value for the price.

I just started college, and my parents bought me this as a gift. The first time I started it up it was really fast, after that not so much. I love the style. I would love a number pad, but oh well. The mouse is really sensitive also. My pages minimize and maximize if I touch it the wrong way. It's still a great computer.

This computer would lock up and then it would lock up on restart. The cd door was almost impossible to open and one of the usb ports was not working.
