Safeguard your firearms with the Stack-On 14 Gun Fire Resistant Security Safe that is fire rated and security tested. This safe can hold eight firearms up to 54" tall and operation lights present in the electronic lock indicate open safe, low battery, and incorrect entry. This convertible gun safe has two-way locking with one-inch steel live action locking bolts and five locking points. You can extend and retract the locking bolts with the help of the steel handle. In order to provide more security to your firearms, a drill resistant steel plate is placed behind the lock.

Key pad worked when it decided to.

A friend suggested a gun safe w/ the electronic key pad so you can get in it in a hurry if needed. Purchased this on for myself for Christmas. In Jan. I got it set up. Shortly after setting it up, the key pad stopped working. I replaced the cheap batteries that came with it & it started working. A couple of weeks later, it stopped working again. I tested the battery it was good, but I replaced it anyway and it still didn't work. I tried contacting Stack-On with no success. So after a couple of weeks having to access the safe with the key, I took it back to Wal-Mart. I would not recommend this safe to anyone.

A Fire Resistant Safe At A Great Price

I had been wanting a fire safe for sometime, but just could not afford one as even on sale a decent one was in the $500 range. Then Wal Mart had a Black Friday sales price on this safe that I could not believe, so I jumped in the truck and headed to Wal Mart and was lucky enough to get the last one!
For not much more than I had paid for my lockable "security cabinets" I got a fire resistant safe with a convertible interior that was perfect for my needs. Not only does it hold all of my long guns and pistols but the 4 shelves hold all of my important papers, ammo, photos and other items I would not want to loose in a house fire.
After comparing prices and features on other safes at the big box sporting good stores to this one, this one is one heck of a deal at regular price, At the price I paid, I feel I just about stole it!

Just brought this home and set it up... I noticed that, with the door closed and locked, there was some play in the handle. When you adjust the handle slightly and give a good tug on the door, it comes right open. This "safe" is not SAFE.

The bypass key would not come out of the safe. I called Stack-On and was shocked to be told this is a common problem with their safes. They wanted to send me replacement parts so I could fix it myself. Stack-On actually asked me if I could first get a bolt cutter to cut the jammed key off. I couldn't believe that they were very used to the key getting stuck and expecting consumers to fix it. Not to mention that doing ANY modifications/repairs void the warranty. It (all 300 pounds) went back to Walmart.

This is a great safe for the price. It's very sturdy and fire resistant. I doubt it could fit 14 rifles however. 5 at most with the divider, 10 without any shelves. Works great for my 4 rifles, 3 handguns, ammo and personnel documents.

The safe is as described. Pretty big- big enought for a bunch of rifles and pistols. The shelves are handy and the safe feels sturdy and tough. You cannot beat this for the price. For the same thing you would have to pay $500 plus anywhere else. Great deal and would recommend.

I did a lot of research (online and in store), and settled on this safe. I was a little concerned after reading a few reviews about shelf tracks, carpets and dents. I picked this one up in the store, and still in the box. I was very happy to see it had everything in place, no damage and it was quick and easy to set up. It even came with 5 desiccant packs, a 9v battery, rifle scope adapters (to hold them better) and mounting bolts. For under $400 I couldn't match it! Next closest was over $500, but wasn't as nice.

I got this for around $270 - $290 (Can't remember) WITH free shipping on Black Friday. There is no way you can find a safe like this WITH an Electronic Keypad for the price. Very happy with purchase.

I bought this safe to replace my 10 gun wooden gun cabinet. This safe is WAY too small to be usable. poorly designed. The divider in the midle makes using the side gun racks imposible, only the back six racks are usable. and without the divider you have NO shelves. and if you place a longer gun on any side you can NOT use any shelves as the mounting system will not alow for repositioning the shelves. This safe is nice quality for the money, BUT the steel is thin like TIN and easily dented and the paint scratches and chips easy. The interior mounting rails for the shelfs are right where the guns slide in and out of safe. Only problem with that is IT SCRATCHES YOUR GUN everytime you get it out and put it away. I wouldnt buy this even if it was only $300 I paid $347 and regret even bringing it into my home. I am returning it tomorrow.

I ordered this safe online for the sale price. Went to pick up at Walmart. When I got home and opened it up noticed dent on front right corner. that wasnt an issue for me until I opened it and saw the the center divider was torn off the top of the safe. It looks like during shipping it may have been damaged by the loose shelves in the safe. Called Wallmart.com they were eceptionaly helpful in trying to find me a replacement one. They were willing to get me a better model for the same price. I was able to find the excact same one at another store so I called the store and told them my problem. They were aslo willing to give me a better one if they did not have the exact same one for the same price. This is my first time dealing with Walmart on exchanges and it was a great experience. Thank you Walmart.com and Walmart Simi Valley. :)

I am very pleased with the safe. I do wish I had purchased a larger safe, shelving is minimal with guns inside. It is built very well, solid, over all good quality. At the cost, I don't think you can find a better safe for the money. I searched for several weeks for a good, affordable safe, nothing came close to the quality for the cost. And free shipping is very hard to beat.....

Purchased this safe through an online special after seeing the same safe that a friend owns. Shipment was free and arrived in good condition with everything included as advertised. This safe easily stores the guns that I own (3 shotguns and 2 handguns) with some accessories and ammo kept in an ammo box, and still has room for more, maybe three or 4 more long guns with the way I have the shelves installed. Without installing the shelves, it could store 14 long guns as advertised but there would be little room leftover for anything else. So far it has met all my expectations. It was well worth the sale price and free shipping. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't have a lot of guns, or owns mostly handguns.
