I bought this product for my 10 year old daughter who has special needs, and is Autistic, back in November 2011... It was awesome! It met all of our expectations, and then some! Until today, only 7 short months later, and the power supply went on it! Had to contact the company, because it was still under the manifacture warranty, and that phone call was crazy! After going through all the motions they tell you too, trying to figure out why it wont turn on, and doing all these crazy steps they tell you to, after a half hr on the phone they finally say, yes it qualifies for repair under warranty! uhhhh so now we have to go to fedex and pay for shipping, and make sure there is insurance on it, and wont get it back for over 2 weeks!!! dissapointing! How can a power supply go so fast in a computer

Don't let the haters and fanboys fool you. For the price you just can't beat what this desktop has to offer. It has everything you need right out of the box! 20" monitor, Pentium Dual-Core Processor, 1TB HDD, plenty of RAM to cover those memory-hungry background programs without getting hung up on the things you use your computer for and the 64-bit version of Windows 7 all for under $400.
I've had this desktop a little over a month now and it's been smooth sailing. Only upgrades I've made was a $30 matched pair of 2GB RAM sticks purchased separately so I could experience the full beauty of this nifty little machine (in case you wondering, no, I can't tell much a difference between 3GB -> 4GB ram). I also ditched the standard mouse it came with in favor for my trusty Logitech Revolution wireless laser mouse and hooked up some old external speakers I had laying around because the built-in monitor speakers just weren't loud enough for my taste.
Con:
No built-in wi-fi module for wireless internet access. Unless you plan on setting this computer up right next to your modem/router, you'll need to purchase a wi-fi USB module separately. They usually go for around $30-$50.

I had a computer before that didn't have half the ram and hard drive space this one has but would play games that this one will not which I have to admit was disappointing but what do you expect for $350 right. Anyways I bought a graphics card for it the ATI Radeon HD 5570 which was a pretty nice card that would play all the recent games at a decent frame rate and did not use much power which is something you have to consider with this pc because it comes with a very weak power supply so to make a long story short I had to do some serious cutting, trimming and rigging to get the card to fit in this small box but did get it to work and it does work fantastically now. So if you can get a descent graphics card that doesn't require a large amount of wattage or space for that matter to run and can also fit it in this case you can have a fantastic gaming machine for around $400 bucks but you will need to be a do it yourself kind of guy to get this to work and a drimel or grinder haha..

Do NOT get this computer if you're looking for a cheap system you can upgrade. The power supply unit is TERRIBLE and the small form factor makes it very hard to find a replacement, and without replacing the power supply, you cannot get a new graphics card.

I bought this for my wife because I always bought emahines for myself. After 1 month of use the DVD drive broke I contacted Acer service and the tech determined that we could not get working again. I was instructed to send it to Acer Repair in Texas. I had to pay for shipping to TX. Acer paid for return shipping. Turn around time was about one week. It was returned with a new DVD drive. No charge. I am planning to buy one just like it for myself. A lot of extras in a small form machine.

BUY SEPARATE SPEAKERS. THE BUILT IN MONITOR SPEAKERS POINT BACKWARDS (brilliant!) AND THE SOUND IS THIN AND TINNY.

I got this computer by itself (without the bundle). So far the only problems I have is that I dislike windows 7 and sometimes the computer wont turn on properly. It will go in standby and never come back, so I will have to unplug the computer from the wall and give it several minutes, then turn it back on, sometimes having to do this several times. Now if I have things open during standby, obviously this can be a major problem. Compared to my last computer this one exceeds my expectations (especially since I purchased from Walmart). I would recommend but also warn those about that glitch, in case they need it for business or important things. Just for leisure use it really isn't bad.

I was shopping for a computer for quite sometime but I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money. My old but computer was working but the system was outdated;Windows XP. I cleaned the cookies and the registry,did virus scans and it was still slow. I looked around many places. This was definately the best deal. Window 7- 64bit with an Intel Pentium processor. Lots of hard drive space. Everything inluded in the box. You get a 20in. monitor with beautiful graphics. The tower is compact for those who need to save space. It has a card reader in the tower. Keyboard and mouse are included. It all fits in one box!!! My husband was looking for other boxes when he went to take it out of the car. As other reviewers said there wasn't enough USB ports and the sound coming out of the speaker monitor is low. Yes this is true. I purchased an inexpensive pair of Altec Lansing speakers for $15.00. It sounds great. If you need more ports you can purchase a hub. These issues are nothing when you consider what you are getting for the money.
