Lifetime Lifetime Wave Youth Kayak, Green

This is well designed for kids! My 7&8 year old girls got on these and were able to handle them instantly. We've been out on a calm river for hours at a time. They LOVE them! They are really sturdy and pretty well made for the price. For an entry level, kid-size kayak, they are a good value.
Walmart's price is better than most sellers. The kayak arrived within 3 days and was in perfect condition. The same can not be said for other sellers: Only a few companies carry these, and even though they are made in red, blue, green, yellow, orange and pink, each vendor seems to only carry two colors. My kids wanted pink and blue, and I wanted green (I"m a petite adult and this size works for me too!). Walmart only carries green and orange. So I ordered the pink and blue versions from the other well known toy-seller with the backwards R in their name. That order was processed much more slowly, one of the two kayaks arrived damaged, and getting it replaced or returned for a credit has been extremely difficult--laden with shipping problems and delays. I highly recommend buying these from Walmart instead of TxxRxS. In fact, I've given up on getting the replacement blue kayak and am now working on getting a full refund. If I ever get my credit from them for the broken blue one, I will turn right around and order the orange kayak from Walmart! Now just to convince the kids that Pink, Green, and Orange is better than Pink, Green, and Broken Blue!
Anyway, this is a great product and Walmart is good at customer service, online order fulfillment, and product delivery. Happy Kayaking!

We live on the lake year round so sometimes the grandkids tend to take the lake for granted. This little kayak revved up their interest and is still doing its job. Easy to paddle, light to handle and very attractive -our whole family really enjoys this little gem. Highly recommended for an inland lake.

My boys ages 10 and 13 got these recently. They love them. These are great for kids that want to get started in kayaking. Can't beat the price too. The only issue I have is with the yellow kayak my older son has and that is... It needs a handle on the front. My younger son has the green one which comes with the handle which is great for him to pull it to the water. Other than that these are awesome!!!

Love this product. Just the right size for my 7 year old. Wasn't sure if it came with the paddle or it was just a prop but it does come too. I looked at dicks and dunhams and neither had this. Ordered it and it was at the store in 7 days. Very happy with it.

Our grandchildren ages 8 and 12 started out with these in the pool. This was their first experience with a kayak. It was about a five minute self taught lesson and they headed for the open water canal. The kayak is so stable, they are even using them as a paddle board. Thanks for hours of enjoyment at a very affordable price and made in the USA.

The kayak is a perfect size and love the 2 sided oar that comes with it. My son loves it. The only thing I didn't know was that it has a hole in the bottom of the kayak so everytime he gets in it he gets very wet, which is fine in the summer, but not so good in the fall when it's not quite as warm. Other than that, it is a perfect gift for a younger child who likes to kayak.

After I ordered this product, Two children's kayaks, I discovered they were 20% cheaper at Dunham Sports. Because I ordered them and they were on their way, I let the product come to us. They were very nice and they are well made. The kids loved them and had a blast in the water .
I did pay $20.00 more plus shipping for each item but the shipping was only $8.00 total for the two. I did not have to go to the store and bring them home in the car as they are quite large.

We bought this kayak for our grandchildren. My eight year old grandson kayaked a lake in New Hampshire, Maine and New Jersey and he loved it. It is a great kayak for a child to learn.
