I ordered online and received unit 3 days later. A part was broken. I did not assemble unit. I called Generac and ask about returning the unit. They ask if I had registered unit! No it's broke. Generac then registered the unit. They are sending a new part which will arrive in about 10 days. This is a fitting that somehow fits into the top of the gas tank and a line from it goes down into a metal cover which could be the carberator. How am I supposed to pry that out of the gas tank and hope it don't leak??? I am a 70 year old disabled man who is almost Blind, and they expect me to repair a brand new unit. If I wanted a unit that had to be repaired, I would have bought a used one. The unit is probably a very good one, but nothing is good if it is broke.

The unit appeared to be very nice however, when I tried to start it the motor was locked up. I am taking it back to the store this weekend. I am not sure if I will reorder this same unit again or try a different one.

Iam very pleased with this pressure washer. I did a lot of homework before making this purchase.The quality is great and the power is to. The washer started right up and runs and sounds great. I bought this mainly for washing my cars, but I am so pleased with the power and quality i will use this for my deck,siding and patio. I have a small electric power washer for my house up north but I needed a reliable power washer to annually clean green and black algae and mold from the siding, brick wall (planter), and driveway on my house in Florida. I spent two weeks researching and decided to purchase the Generac Model 6022 2,700 PSI 2.3 GPM through Walmart. I tried ordering it through the Lowes store but unfortunately when they phoned to say it had arrived, they had ordered their own brand pressure washer for me. I tried ordering it through Walmart's website on a Monday morning and the Generac pressure washer arrived at my home in North Port, FL on Friday. I read the operator's manual thoroughly and made up some short checklists for myself. It was easy to assemble. I followed the pre-start procedures "by the book". I carefully and slowly added the oil and it took approx. 18 oz. I added fuel stabilizer to the gas before I filled the tank. With my safety goggles on, the engine started on the first pull. I needed to hold the spray approx. 6" from the bricks which only gives about a 5" spray coverage but it washed the black mold and algae that had been there for years, off the white porous bricks and made them look like new. It similiarly removed the black mold and algae off the driveway and it looks like new concrete. I wouldn't want much more pressure to work with. My hands get tired holding the high pressure wand in place after approx. one hour of pressure washing. After the jobs were finished, I drained the gas tank using the small screw/bolt under the carburator. I put some "pump saver" through the pump. It doesn't take up much space in my storage shed. If some dirt, mold or algae dares to show its ugly presence around my house, I will attack it with my Generac gas power washer. I can hardly wait!

This is one of the best Presure washer I owned. Excellent presure, smooth operation, very user friendly.Nicely desighned and well ballanced. Good size gas tank to do all your chores for DIY person. Cleaner solutions container in very convenient place also. I already bought another one for my son and he is an Auto Mechanic. I personaly recmend this presure washer for all DIY nuts like me.

All I can say is wow!, I bought this for my husband to wash his Peterbilt Truck and his Auto Trailer, lots of work to do by hand, as he has the whole family doing it by hand couple times a month ,and were all sore all over when we get done, so He needed this so bad !but I was the 1st to use it on our front porch, all wood and hasn't been cleaned in 7 years, I cant believe it ! my porch wood looks new again , oh my gosh ! it was so dirty, we live in an area where sand is almost taking over our front lawn, the kids in and out , years of dirt ground into the wood, its so clean , I'm not sure if we will paint the porch now or just Thomson water seal it ,,but this works great ,had a friend put it together. everything was in the box, worked great .

I love the overhead valve engine it starts first time every time, I also like the gas shut off, this pressure washer works fine for me I used it on cement driveway first, then on a RV motor home it worked just fine on both. I also like the push two buttons and the handle comes right off for easy storage. And this power washer is also compact not real wide or high.

I had great difficulty selecting a pressure washer. I didn't particularly like the models available in the stores at Lowes or Home Depot. And, all the models available online had enough negative reviews that I was reluctant to buy. But, I needed a pressure washer so, based on the favorable reviews, selected the Generac 2,700. I knew nothing about the model except what I learned from other people's reviews. It arrived quickly through Walmart.com. I was very pleased with the low cost of shipping. The unit will arrive almost completely assembled. It took me less than 20-minutes to unpack and assemble the unit. I've only used it once. But, it started very easily and worked very well. I especially like the gasoline capacity. It provides for considerable use. The unit restarted immediately after I refilled the gas tank. I am very pleased with the unit and happy I bought the Generac.

I used this pressure washer to clean my deck and it removed the paint and the black that accumulates over time. I have repainted the deck and it looks great. From the reviews I read before buying I think it will last many years.

purchased and had some issues right away such as defective gas tank screen and intermittent power. I would have exchanged but I called manufacturers customer service 3 times. Two of the times they were so rude and did everything they could not to help me. They even gave me a number for a service center who when called they complained that they keep getting these calls and they keep informing generac that they do not service their products. They leave me no choice but to return the product.

I have to agree with most of the other reviews, A snap to put together, I put the oil in and gas and it started on the 2nd pull, Awesome , it is easy to move around and store ( small footprint) with the 4 tips and a soap tank,you can do whatever you need around the house,I will never have to go to the hand car wash again, I took a few days to check the internet and local home stores and you CANNOT beat this deal !

Because of the great reviews I bought this product even though there were several people that complained about only being able to use a 50' hose with it. I didn't realize how short a 50' hose was until I looked at all of my hoses which were 75'! I bought a 50' hose to accomodate that restriction and I couldn't reach anything around my house. I would have had to bring the machine back. I called my son who is a contractor and asked him about it. He said to go ahead and use my 75' hoses - a 50' hose is advised because if you don't have good water pressure it could damage the machine. We have great water pressure so he said it would be ok. I hooked it up to my 75' hose and power washed for 8 hours straight! It was awesome! I am not encouraging the use of a hose longer than recommended - just passing along what I did.
