Solid and sturdy...it took about 45 minutes or so to put together. It's light enough to move by yourself but sturdy enough to hold a queen mattress and a 220 pound man. There were a few scratches on the pieces, but they easily can be covered.

I was looking for an inexpensive bed and found this one... the price is excellent and the bed is fair/good quality. Nothing to really complain about. This is one of those times when you get better than you pay for. Quite happy with it.

I love this bed,free shipping to walmart then you pick up in your suv or pick up.i picked it up with a regular car in trunk.very easy to put together it took me 30 min by myself with no help.instructions are easy to follow,i love the price too very sturdy it has bottom legs under the metal net which holds mattress no box spring needed !

I really like the look of this bed and am very pleased with it. It's a two man job to set up (if you want to make things easy on yourself). I've had it for over a year and recently the springs have started to squeak with movement. That would be my only complaint. Love the storage space underneath.

I have never been good at putting anything together and I managed to put this bed together all by myself! The instructions were easy, the product was packaged very nicely and securely and the shipping took much less than time than estimated. When it says you do not need a boxspring it really means you should not use one because it is very high off the ground with the boxspring and mattress. There is a ton of underbed storage space with this but if you do plan to use a boxspring like I have been, get a long bedskirt because it is an eyesore.

For the price this bed was great. It's heavy enough to stabilize. I put it together in 15 min or less by myself. It has wonderful storage space underneath. Very portable; I took it apart to move and put it right back together. It didn't weight more than 15 lbs. I was completely surprised and impressED that a Walmart product was so good. This is the first time I have bought a piece of furniture from Walmart; especially online. It was delivered promptly and without problem.

i love this bed. i use it with both a box spring and top mattress, it makes it high, but i love it that way! there is no squeaking or anything. the support for the mattress is a hard grid of metal. it is not a 'mesh', it spans from side to side, so the entire base is supported. after i was finished putting the bed together, i stood on the support without the mattress, and it was not flimsy at all. i weigh 100lbs. The space under the bed is more than adequate! i drape a blanket over the sides and its more than enough room for my 7 and 8 year old boys to play fort in! i've had this bed for 5 months now, and i still love it!

I have owned this bed for over 2 years, and have been sleeping on it every night.
We bought this bed for its price when my boyfriend and I had first moved in together and couldn't afford anything more expensive, figuring that we'd upgrade once we could. He and I have both had job changes for the better since then, and even after we moved to a bigger place and could afford a much better bed, we stuck to this one.
Our footboard came with a dent in it, but since it didn't interfere with the functionality of the bed, we didn't mind. It was easy to assemble, my now-fiancee put it together with a drill in like 5 minutes. We put a bedskirt on it to prevent damage to the bottom of the mattress, which worked out wonderfully. It used to squeak with movement, but a little bit of WD-40 was all it needed.
My one word of advice is that you should invest in a thick, sturdy mattress. That was the only thing we had to upgrade on the bed. When we first started out with a thinner, cheaper mattress, we could feel where the netting support came together in the middle, and used to get backaches from the lack of cushion. But now we have upgraded to a Sertapedic mattress, and it is wonderful. Absolutely no complaints about the bed whatsoever.

I was nervous buying this bed to be honest. I expected a flimsy cheaply made bed that wasn't going to be very sturdy. TOTAL OPPOSITE! Extremely well made, well protected in shipment. Would not have fit in my car if I had shipped it to store, so glad I got it shipped direct to my home. It looks better than I thought as well. I am not a very bright person and I put the bed together myself in no time at all. Would be easier with two people, but not difficult by yourself.
I only had a queen mattress and no box spring, so this bed NOT requiring a box spring, Queen size for under $200 is a great deal.

Everything seemed to look good and sturdy. However, at the slightest movement this bed makes a very loud clanking noise... not squeaking, clanking!, as if someone was hitting a hammer against a piece of steel. I have purchased the Brooklyn twin bed (2) and a your zone full bed. The your zone full is the best pick out of these three brands of beds I've purchased in the past month.
