I have had this product for approximately 6 months for light use such as shredding bills, etc. The shredder will jam regularly and finally stopped working all together.

it might be OK for 2 or 3 pages, but 4 pages and up it really struggles. Shredded paper hangs from the cuter and is hard to get off, so shredded paper gets messy when taking off the top to clean basin. I returned it after first day.

This is a good buy, the price is good. I was very impress, it does a great job in getting rid off all those old bills I had to shred. The pieces are small there is no way for you worry, there is not enough time for a person to sit down and go piecing the shredded items together. It is worth the buy, really. Love it.

Had to return this shredder. Even though it claimed to shred 8 pages, I would only put TWO pages folded in half and it kept jamming after less than one minute. The motor was rather heavy for me to lift each time I had to empty the under bin and when replacing the motor top, the edges kept
scrapping my finger tips because it seemed to have rather sharp edges. It also kept clogging after about a minute of feeding those TWO, folded in half pages. I do not recommend this shredder. Exchanged this Shredder Essentials for another Walmart shredder which was cheaper and much better.
