I like my tricycle, but I live in San Francisco and the hills are killer so I would not recommend this product to anyone I know here in the City, but I would recommend it to someone who lives in wide open spaces or has areas where you can ride freely. The sidewalks I have to navigate are narrow, but it serves the purpose for which I wanted it. Number 1 to help me get on a bike, because I can't ride a two wheeler. Number 2 it's a big enough basket to carry two bags of groceries.
I suggest this vehicle for someone with good upper body strength and good lower body strength. Because since it has no gears you really have to pedal with all your strength.

I am 64 and felt wobbly on my old two wheel bike. Ordered the three wheel on line in dark silver. When I went to pick up at the store I asked for free assembly. They said it would take about an hour. I returned the following day. Glad they assembled. I am the envy of the neighborhood riding my trike. Glad I purchased through WalMart..I feel like a kid again riding my trike.
Worth the price. Would recommend having them assemble.

I ride it every day . I have no complaints at all. about this bike . it rides smoothly . easy to peddle . it is a great coaster bike . love the basket . if it wasn't a great well made bike I would tell you . i I highly recommend this bike . makes exercise fun .

Very happy with the tricycle and the service I recieved at the store. I called and asked for the tricycle to be assembled and it was ready in a few hours. Love the large basket that can hold all of groceries and my equipment for my business. I will be adding another basket on the front in the future in case I need more cargo space. The seat is easily adjustable also which helps shorter people like myself. Very comfortable ride. Made me feel like a little girl again!

Horrible craftsmanship. Heavy as a horse and built like a cardboard box. I should have just saved and bought a higher end model, from a different manufacturer. One with three gears and aluminum frame and fenders. These fenders are awful and will never stay in position.
Terrible bike. Wish I wouldn't have bought it.

This Schwinn Tricycle is exactly what I have been looking for. Six years ago I had equilibrium problems and fell and broke my back. I've wanted a bike for the past three years, but didn't get one because I felt it wouldn't be safe. When I looked for a tricycle 3 years ago, all I could find were work carts, and they ran $600-$800. I decided to start looking again and was excited when I saw a Schwinn (excelent reputation for quality). Thankfully, I work with guys who do instrumentation on machinery, so they put it together on their lunch break. I have had a wonderful time riding in my neighborhood with my dog on a leash running beside me. When I sat on it for the first time I couldn't believe it -- This tricycle is so stable, I have no worries about falling over or wrecking. Best purchase I've made in years! (My dog thinks so, too:o)

it came with a bent frame i got it for my birthday and went to put it toghther and as soon as you opened the box you could tell it had been returned once already then they sent it to me anyhow i have MS and should be out riding instead i am trying ,hoping to get a new bike no really new, i am so sad. all the other things i have gotten from walmart have been great so i can't understand why they would do this on such an expensive item. guess it is not expensive to them

A friend of the family had given my son a schwinn tricycle because of his disability he couldn't ride a 2 wheel bike & he loved it even though it was pink. These 3 wheel bikes are so expensive but after a couple of years we were able to purchase him a brand new smokey gray Schwinn tricycle & made my son the happiest boy on the block. He rides it everyday. Thanks

It arrived early, it took about 3hrs to build. I love the pewter color. I didn't put the fenders on. The bike rides sturdy , it's definitely heavier than riding a two wheeler but I am confident & balanced while riding with groceries in the large basket. This was a healthy, smart investment to get around a beach town.

Its a Nce bike but, it came with a smashed left rear fender, its how its packed in the box, top left of the box, it also spongy, kinda wobbly, didnt know you had to balance a 3 wheeler also...had to teach my dad to stop leaning left or right, over all Schwinn makes quality bikes, Walmart had the best price,

My Grandfather had one of these trikes in the 70's and rode each day for his exercise- he was in his 80's! This was my inspiration for the purchase, I am in my 50's and live in a neighborhood that has a lot of dogs running loose, and being concerned that I would have an accident on a regular bike if I encountered a dog while riding, I thought the stability of three wheels would be much safer. I recommend this product to all seniors, or any adult that wants a relaxing, safer wheeled ride. Great Schwinn product- Thanks Wal-Mart!

Cheaper bike got returned before I even got it out of the box. The Schwinn was slightly more, but a much higher quality.
It was a challenge to put together. I spent several hours working on putting it together myself with no help. If you can get the store to handle that for you I suggest you do. We are too far from the store for me to just ride it back so I did it.
My only complaint ... if you want to call it that ... is I expected silver, but dark silver just looks like black to me (or gun metal gray). Overall I love this bike though.
Oh, & I talked to a local bike shop & he said for $70 he can convert it to 3 speed. About half of that is labor if you want to do it yourself.
I included a comparison photo in case anyone else is torn on which trike to get. Darker one in back is obviously the Schwinn (white one is the Alameda I returned).
Also should note I had a Schwinn years ago & it was amazing. Very comfortable & lasted for years. Very glad to have a new one!

I just got this trike 4 days ago, still trying to familiarize with it. The trike was assembled by the staff at the Walmart store and they did a wonderful job. The only thing that I needed to do was tightened the seat because it was wobbly a bit. The trike looks good, easy to handle, the basket is big enough for decent storage and I hope it will last a long time for me to enjoy without much maintenance.
I am very impressed with the services I received starting from online to the actual pick up at Walmart in Maricopa. The store called me in the morning when the trike arrived to be picked up, I requested it to be assembled (free of charge) and in the same afternoon it was ready!! That's service. Thank you, Walmart.

It's the first time , I ride a bike. I am 46 years old . I was afraid to use a 2 wheels bike , I brought this one . People look at me like I am crazy but I don't care I fell so free . Walmart do the assembly for me and that was very great ..... I really love it and even the for first time I was like a professional.
