These Rubbermaid bins came in an order of 12 and price-wise are a great value. I would have preferred being able to order a smaller quantity--perhaps 6 at a time but I'm sure I will eventually find items to store in all 12 bins. The bins are very sturdy and stackable and the lids close securely.

you can stack these once filled with stuff,and they are durable enough to last a lifetime..dont waste money on cheaper tupperwares..I use bright vinyl tape to label whats inside,so easy to find once theyre all piled together..glad i went this route..all same size and stackable..saves space and time..

These containers are replacing cardboard boxes which do not stand up to Arizona conditions. Time will determine if these "roughneck" containers will stand up. It is disappointing that they were not easy to stack without laying a sheet of paneling in between the layers; without this the boxes would bulge. So my initial impression is that they are not as sturdy as I hoped they would be.

Rubbermaid is just plain good. I personally like it better than Sterilite for storage use in the garage or shed. I use it for decorations, keepsakes, kitchen supplies, clothes, etc. It keeps out the Florida cockroaches that get into your garages at times!!! It's great for camping to keep things dry. I recommend it to anyone who has anything to store. And I ordered in bulk and had it shipped, and it was delivered promptly. The shipping boxes weren't always in great shape but the Rubbermaid held up just fine!

Very useful! Ideal to pack summer/winter clothes in but the boxes smell of the material they're made of and although I sanitized them and aired them out for a week (including lids), they still had an odor so I put the clothes in a plastic bag, tied it, then set a dryer sheet on top before putting on the lid. In time I think the smell will go away.
I also use them for various items including photo albums, important papers, shoes, our grandchildren's toys, tools, books, blankets, Christmas decorations, etc. I mark each box with the contents so they're easy to find. The boxes are well made and the lids fit securely.
I would have liked them to be a different color then the blue, like tan or light gray because those are neutral and would blend in better where I keep a couple of them.
I would definitely buy them again. Depending on what you use them for, the minor things I mentioned may not be of any significance.

The product is of good quality. But was to small for the application it was choosen for. It was durrable like I need but just wasn't big enough so I had to return it. But would order again is needed.

I have many of this exact tub at home. I normally purchase them from Target, but Target isn't carrying them anymore. So I googled it and found that I could purchase 12 of them at a time from Walmart at fair price. So I bought them from Walmart. This is a great tub and the prefect size for storing clothing. We also use them for camping. I like this tub because it sturdy, durable and doesn't get brittle. Plus they all stack sooo nicely when I have all of the same brand of tub.

I had this product for over 10 years and i find the product to be very tough. I stack these containers overloaded 3 or 4 high with no problems to the bottom ones. With other containers the cheap plastic cracks under heavy loads but not this one.

Long lasting storage containers

We are a public school district and have been using Rubbermaid Roughneck storage bins for transporting our elementary hands-on science curriculum for about 20 years. The bins travel between 7 elementary schools on our district trucks. Each year we purchase more bins for new curriculum, but over 95 percent of our original Rubbermaid containers are still in use and in good condition. We are in Minnesota and experience extreme weather conditions, from way below 0 degrees to over 100 degrees. These Rubbermaid containers get used and abused and continue look good and perform well.
