I am so happy to have found this wonderful lamp at Walmart. It is much more beautiful than the picture would denote! Lovely glass shades have swirls of a beige color. Everyone who has seen mine is impressed. It was very easy to put together also. It took me about 10 minutes. Very sturdy with its weighted base.
I will also be buying at least one more in the silver (antique nickel) finish when I can find it in a local store.

Very easy to put together did it myself in a wheelchair! One review couldn't find rings for the sockets they are screwed in the socket so before you put bulb on unscrew put on glass then screw back on . Love the color gives good light you will need a 3way bulb for top light. Glad I bought it!

I have been looking for a lamp that has both the overhead function and reading function for a spare room that has little lighting. I had been to all the major department stores, lamp stores, and on-line merchandisers. Everything I found was either cheaply made or way too expensive. When I saw this had glass shades and was tall I took a chance.
This lamp totally exceeded my expectations:
- Heavily weighted base - no tipping
- beautifully, unflawed bronze finish (not like cheap comparisons)
- smooth well-machined connections - went together like a breeze
- Beautiful marbled heavy glass shades-top quality (beige/off white)
- Independent switches for the two lamps
- substantial pole that will not bend like cheap imitations.
- Supports a 3-way bulb
- Price is 1/3 or less than ANYTHING I found that could be compared!
- Beautiful on and off!

I like the look and feel of this lamp. It's a classy looking, heavy torchiere lamp with a task/reading light. I wanted 2 for my living room, but after 4 tries, I have only 1 that worked. The first worked fine, so I bought a 2nd, on which the torchiere worked, but not the task light. I took it apart, back to the store and bought a 3rd, which worked. But THEN, the torchiere switch of the 1st lamp stopped working. I bought 1 more on which neither switch worked. I gave up and took the 2 non-working lamps back. I would still love to get a 2nd matching lamp that works!

I like this Better Homes and Garden floor lamp combo in color bronze because it brings alot of light around my TV screen to brightin it up....I also like the glass urins it has a pretty gray and white print on them both.... Well made metal nothing real fake looking on this floor lamp at all....Now on the way top of the light it only takes a three way 50 or a 100 or a 150 watt light bulb and the light that hangs down it only takes a 40 watt light bulb only.....and the cost of this lamp was well worth the money folks

you need a 3 way bulb.. a good CFL 3 way will be the equivalent of 130-150 watts.. it's really bright.
