Just got mine in today. Very quick shipping. For 2.5" speakers, they sound great. Of course they don't have the bass that your home systems has, but who is going to hear that on a bike anyway?
It does matter what you drive them with. One of my MP3's was not near as loud as my old small radio was. With the radio hooked up, these speakers were very loud!
With the amps inside the speaker, hook up is going to be much simpler.
Unfortunately, I received black speakers. I thought that I was getting Chrome. :).
Still - for $50 bucks, I am thrilled.
