The Havoc Full Suspension 26" Mens' Mountain Bike provides a fun, stable and smooth ride. With 21 speeds and a 3-piece high performance crank, this Havoc full suspension mountain bike is ideal for men looking to explore their adventurous side. The Havoc bike has a full suspension with fork design that helps you ride with ease. The Havoc full suspension mountain bike also includes authentic hyper graphics, a padded seat for extra comfort and a sturdy aluminum frame. With comfortable padded seats and Shimano brakes, youll enjoy the time you spend biking. In addition to its safety and comfort, the bike also scores high when it comes to durability. The aluminum frame, handlebars and pedals enable this Havoc Full Suspension 26" Mens' Mountain Bike to withstand rough use.
For the price, this is a very good bike. It is well-built, and sturdy, with good peripheral equipment. But there are several issues with it. The manual that comes with it is pretty generic, and some technical details for setup are quite vague. The front wheel is defective, and I have had to order a replacement from the distributor/vendor, which is not Walmart. I emailed both Walmart and the supplier, and Walmart responded immediately with an offer to help deal with the vendor. The vendor was slow responding, it seems because the replacement parts and the distribution channel are all different organizations from the vendor of the brand. The wheel, tire and tube have been supplied all separate, and the wheel is silver colored, not black like the original, as they don't stock the black wheel as spare parts. In addition, the original and the replacement wheel hubs seem very stiff, not freely turning as I would expect, and doesn't include the spoke end rubber cover band. I am going to take the new wheel to a bike shop tomorrow to check this out. The only reason I am not rating this product lower is that the major part of the bike frame and equipment seem quite good. As you can tell from my story, I have not had the opportunity to ride it more than a little bit around the house so far.

Review 4 for 26" Hyper Havoc MTB Men's Bike, Black
Disappointment

I bought this bike trying to save a couple bucks with its cheap price. I hadn't even had it a month before it took a dive. The crank wobbled so bad it would jump from gear to gear. I didn't expect much for 130 but for it to at least function as designed... I only rode it on asphalt and gravel trails, nothing too crazy. Walmart exchanged it with no problem and for more money i upgraded to a better bike... or at least i hope...

Review 5 for 26" Hyper Havoc MTB Men's Bike, Black
More than a year later, for pavement riders

I purchased my Havoc in 4/2012, and posted under "UrbanCommuter". With all original equipment, and all travel in the urban jungle, it was perfect until 6/2012. Got a slow leak in the front after running over a nail, no blow out.
I wanted "faster" tires anyway, and knew the tubes were starters. So I got a pair of Hutchinson Acrobat tires to replace the knobby ones. Over the past year, I have noticed that every other non-bike store mountain bike has tires identical to my old ones. Junk. Identical tread patterns! After breaking them in and feeling them out, the Hutchison tires definitely have a lower rolling resistance. I thought that they would be dangerous in rain, but they aren't. Maybe the side nub things help. They definitely help in cornering in dry weather.
The tubes were replaced with a solid-core by Bell in the front #can't remember# and extra-thick tubes in the back. I don't use Slime. ever. I might want new wheels. Oh, and when I had the wheels and tires off, I used electrical tape over whatever it was that was used for the spoke holes #on the inside of the wheels of course, and a continuos loop not patchwork#. Old trick.
Problem free since June 2012. Enjoy your rides!

Review 6 for 26" Hyper Havoc MTB Men's Bike, Black
My ol man bought this bike and had it for less then a month. He loved it and said it rode great. The problem is with the assembly or manufacturer. This is the second bike in less than 3-4 months from Walmart. On the first bike a Nexis the bolt or screw that holds the frame to the peddle gears popped out causing it to wobble when riding. This bike the pedal gear was loose and wobbling as if to come off soon. Walmart needs to have people who know how to assemble these products. He now traded for a Shwinn.Hope this works better. He said it rides good and is one peice on the connection between front and rear tires where the pedals are. P

Great Bike, some drawbacks

I’m not a biker. I haven’t owned a bike for many years. But I live very close to my job and thought a bike would be a better choice to get there with gas prices as they are.
I bought this bike (online) mainly because of it’s reviews, low price and awesome looks. I am not disappointed. It is a very nice, aggressive looking bike. I am 49 years old, 6’1”, around 200lbs. This bike adjusts out to provide a comfortable ride. My last mountain bike was “crunched” up. My knees would hit the handle bars when turning, my foot would hit the tire, and the height when sitting had my knees in a forward position instead of up and down to the pedals. I was scared to order this online fearing another lousy ride, but I figured for the price, looks and options, I could upgrade it to fit me properly. But this was not needed at all.
Assembly was easy. It comes 90% put together. Put on the front tire, seat and pedals, adjust the gear selectors and brake levers and your rolling. But I have to agree with some of the other reviews. The tires seem cheap. They are a no brand low quality rubber. I don’t see them lasting long. The seat looks awesome, but it is extremely uncomfortable. But I haven’t rode for years, and my cheeks may need to toughen up a little. Many have said the pedals are cheap and have broken on them. They are plastic, and at 200lbs, I am replacing them on other reviews complaints. I don’t want to be a few miles from home and have to try to make it back using one pedal, or push my new bike home. My last gripe is the paint job. It is a semi-flat, no shine finish. It looks awesome, but it scratches to the metal with the littlest impact. If your wrench slips during assembly, you will have a bare metal scar looking at you. Even out of the box, it had a few nicks exposing bare metal. But being a semi-flat paint it is an easy touch up with regular paint being a no gloss finish. Krylon makes a semi-flat black paint that is a perfect match.
Well that being said, I am very happy with my purchase. It is a great rider with aggressive looks. I don’t see myself heading down the side of a mountain any time soon so I can’t give any detail on it’s off road durability. But if I do take to the wilderness, I will update this review.

Just purchased about 2 hrs ago. Just came back from a test ride about 4 miles. Despite some reviews saying there put together quick etc. Who ever the tech at the Florida City Walmart store is.. they did a great job!! Bike is flawless. Performs perfect. Gears, brakes all smooth. No chain rubbing. Couldnt be happier with this purchase. I bought this bike for leisure riding with my wife. I do not plan taking it on hardcore trails. I will get another bike for that. Frame construction is solid and straight. Seat can adjust high and low. I am 5'10 but a 6' person will fit well with this bike also. Has a good FULL suspension for those of you who may have back issues. Yes its a low price !! Dont let that scare you thinking its cheap. I would say this bike compares with 200-300 dollar bikes. If your reading this review ,,, just go buy one now! Worth every penny.

Had this bike for a year and I out grew it. It's good to ride around the street but that's it. Don't even try taking it on a mountain or a trail. The bike is NOT MENT FOR MOUNTAINS.

The Hyper Havoc is a great bike for someone just starting out. The tubes are the standard type and will probably need to be upgraded to the thicker, puncture proof type. The front fork shocks are not adjustable and the seat is a little small for me. Other than that, the bike is great!! shifting is smooth and the brakes work well. I have over 200 miles on this bike in just over a month, both on and off road, with only the front tire loosing a little air. A very nice bike for the money.

I recently bought this bike, assembly wasn't that hard. I actually decided on this bike from the reviews. I wanted something to do trails with and this bike can handle the hardest trails Estrella mountain park has to offer. It does need to be tuned for your weight and the brakes will need to be toyed with. As for the tires they work but, the harder steeper trails will cause them to spin and slide. Some more aggresive knobby tires will solve any traction issues you may have if your more into the nasty trails like me. The frame is lighter then I thought it would be, but strong enough to handle me jumping it 4ft. in the air plus riding over rocks and logs and I'm 6'4" & 240lbs. I love this bike and feel I will have it fora long time.

Good Value for People Under 6'

I purchased this bike yesterday and took it out for several miles. It did well right out of the store. All I did before heading out was spray some silicone and adjust the seat. Whatever issues previous reviewers had with their rims and tires were not present on my bike as both were sturdy and performed well. Shifting was smooth and it is very easy to quickly adjust gears for varying ground conditions. The seat could use an upgrade so consider that if you'll be going on long rides. Overall an excellent bargain.
The only issue I have is the frame height. I'm 5'8" and had to adjust the seat up nearly to the top for appropriate pedal reach. So I would classify this as a youth or under 6' adult bike.
