Gerber Gerber 06-F.A.S.T. Serrated Edge Knife
The tactical and tough Gerber 06-F.A.S.T. Serrated Knife incorporates Gerbers patented Forward Action Spring Technology (F.A.S.T.) for fast one-handed opening. The G-10 handle offers a firm grip even when it is wet. The tanto shaped blade makes for efficient thrusting and picking, while cutting and ripping is accomplished by the half-fine, half-serrated edge. This serrated knife is lightweight with compact dimensions, and has a pocket clip for safe carrying.

I've had this knife for a few months and I'm totally satisfied. It's my first tanto-style blade and I've found it very useful. I think a fixed blade might be more durable but this is good for a carry blade. I read another review where the guy talked about the clip being a half inch from the top so it would stick out when he was carrying it. Personally, I'm not clipping the blade to my pocket so it doesn't matter to me. Also, if I was concerned about people being able to see it, I certainly wouldn't be having the clip showing anyway. Good knife, a little overpriced so I gave it four stars. But I'm glad I own it.

This particular knife's is a little on the heavy side; the pocket clip's a half inch or so below the handle making it slightly difficult to conceal. I didn't like the release switch for "safe locking" and release button (to fold it) being the same. The F.A.S.T. mechanism seemed to creak a little and i don't know how that'll effect it after the natural wear and tear of time and use.
Although I may recommend this product to a friend (depending on his or her preferences), I'd only carry it myself if I had no other alternative. However, I do not agree with the $50 pricing (for $30, I may not have returned it) as you're basically paying for the Gerber brand.
