I had seen these at a fishing seminar in March and finally decided to buy one. Walmart had a great price and the whole order process was flawless. I have used the tool a number of times while fishing and it works great. The long jaws make hook removal easy. I keep the pliers "engaged" the entire time I am fishing so it is ready to go. However, they deploy easily with a flick of the wrist. While it is a bit heavy, I weighed it and the tools I replaced in my tackle bag and the Flick won.
The tool does not come with an "owners manual" but has useful information etched into the handles. The unlock "buttons or slides" are the things to pay attention to. They release the bigger tools and also raise the smaller ones so you can access them.
A great well thought out product. A professional fishing guide I know in Florida swears by, not at, his. I plan to buy one for my brother-in-law as a retirement gift.
