So at the begining of the year I bought a skirt in navy and beige from Old Navy, a navy one from Children's Place, and got another one (Chaps brand) last minute on cleareance at Kohl's, and Gymboree as well (we have to wear uniform every school day I HATE LAUNDRY). Then after school had started was at Walmart, saw these on clearance late October so I picked up a few thinking why not $7 bucks. Have to say even at full non sale price this skirt is the cheapest of all those I listed above (other "children's" stores).....these skirts are mine and my daughter's favorites. All the other ones faded after one wash, by 3 months in to school they looked so faded I hated seeing her in them. Even more important for us busy Moms, this skirt is the only one that does not wrinkle EVER! Comes out of dryer ready to wear. She puts on belt in car no wrinkles. The other more expensive skirts almost always need ironing and look awful after just ride to school with belt on. Plus bottom cuff on Old Navy's is permanently rolled up. I will buy these for all three of my kids for the rest of their school years! LOVE THEM! (Added side note) bought uniform sweater here too and also at Old Navy,Kohl's, and Target-Walmart's is our favorite again! Old Navy's faded and zipper broke 4th week of school. Targets faded and got little snag type balls all over. They wrinkled like crazy! Walmart's always looks pressed and wrinkle free!Extra Mom tip for uniform shoppers. :-)

My daughter is a girly girl so the idea of having to wear a uniform for school wasn't an easy pill to swallow but this little skirt (with shorts inside) made it super easy to be comfortable and girly all year! I've washed them every week for past 6 months and they still look as good as they did when I first bought them. I'm thrilled with the way they held up...especially for the price!

I got this skirt in both khaki & navy. Great fit, right on the mark. The wash & dry well, I haven't needed to iron them afterwards either. My daughter loves them & says they are very comfortable.

I ordered girl's size 5 for my 4 year old daughter. She had fit in the size 4's I found in the store, but they were a little too snug to last all year, so I ordered size 5's from the website. My order was at my door within a few days -- awesome! However, the skirts (although tagged as size 5) were more like a size 3T. Somehow they had to have been mislabeled during manufacturing. Very disappointed! This is the first time this has happened to me. I returned them to my local Walmart and just went somewhere else because I couldn't find any in any of the Walmarts in my area. I typically buy all three of my kids' school uniforms from Walmart, but I had to go somewhere else to get her skirts. Next year, I will buy the right size as soon as I see them on the shelves.

I bought these skorts for my 8 year old daughter as her school uniforms, I love them. They are practically wash and wear and they look really nice one her. I did a little adjustment on the waist line because my daugher is on the skinny side, be nice if these comes with adjustable waist, that would be super. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Sizing was way bigger than normal and no adjustable waistband. I didn't particularly like the color either. It looked like the type of skirt an old lady would wear. I've already returned the 2 I ordered.

This style always looks neat and tidy, especially as there are no pleats on the back that would get crushed every time she sat down. Much nicer than the cotton ones and very durable. It turned out that the 6x was *huge* on her, but she's very small for her age, so I actually sewed a small pleat into the back of the waistbands to make them smaller for her. At the rate these seem to be holding up, I think we'll actually get a second year out of them. This was a much better choice than our optional tunics, as the built-in shorts are better for an active girl who still climbs and always seems to have her feet up on her chair, etc. Having a separate shirt also means less laundry, but these are super-tough and would hold up well to frequent washing. Nicely sewn, with enclosed seams, etc.

These have soft cotton-knit shorts attached underneath. The top is a wrinkle-free poly-blend material. Unlike 100% cotton skorts that crinkle up like paper sacks, these stay smooth & crisp. Plus, they feel soft & release stains easily. They look adorable on my girls & they LOVE them!
