A friend chose this as part of her shower registry.
I ordered the cups. Pleased with amount of time to receive them.
They do look like photo although colors not as bright.
The packaging was really cheap looking. It did not
make a nice presentation for the cups. Should have been
in a sturdy box you could wrap. It was in a very flimsy type
thing I would not even call a box.

I received these mugs today and I totally fell in love with them at the first sight. They are exactly as shown on the screen, maybe even more beautiful and practical. I love the big size of the mugs and I plan to keep them for everyday use, for morning and evening coffee.

These cups are exactly what I wanted. They are big enough for a generous cup of morning coffee, and the colors are cheerful. I was looking for jumbo mugs comparable to the size of Sango (extremely heavy duty china) jumbo mugs that sometimes can cost 69 plus dollars for four. Never less than $7 each. I was very surprised to run across these Gibson mugs for $14. The size was more important than anything but I was very surprised at how durable they are. Like another reviewer, I banged one of them by accident a couple of times putting it into the microwave and thought for sure it would break but to my surprise it stayed intact without a scratch. Only thing is, they are only sold online but that wasn't a problem. They were promised to me within 10 days and I had them in 4. Bravo to Gibson and also to Walmart!

All four fingers fit in the handle which feels good to me. I also love that these mugs are a variety of colors which means that I can tell my mug from my sons or anyone else's mug. They are pretty and practical. They hold 18 oz. easily which is about right for a large bowl of soup.
