It is nice that Walmart sells the Brita 4-pack pitcher filters. Previously, I bought the 3-pack pitcher filters boxes at Shoprite. Last year, I bought a Brita 10-packs box at Costco. Now I hope that Walmart would carry the Brita 10-pack filter pitchers for the convenience of shopping in Walmart. I bought the Brita 4-pack as a gift for my girl friend along with other things from Walmart without shopping in the store. How sweet it was!

I gave up drinking soda and coffee a few years ago. I was buying bottled water for a while but carrying those heavy bottles got old really fast. My cousin had a Brita water filter on her kitchen water faucet. I tried the water and it tasted pretty good. I didn't want to put such an apparatus on my faucet, so I opted for the pitcher/filter option.
I've been drinking water from my Brita filter for more than 5 years now and on those really hot Florida days, it is really refreshing. I keep 4 large bottles of Brita filtered water in my refrigerator so I always have it available. And when I go out, be it shopping or wherever, i always carry a bottle of water with me. Taste good!

I drink lots of water. Where I live the water is great but the pipes into my place are old so the water has rust in it. The Brita filter removes all that rust as well as other contaminants. Good deal all around. Buying bottled water is much more expensive and leaves behind scores of plastic bottles each week which will remain contaminating landfills for so long it has become a major form of pollution that is destroying out eco-systems. 6 bottles of water a day would cost anywhere from $5. or more compared to the Brita filter that can clean 2 months worth of water that's healthier, cheaper, tastes better, and is far better for the environment all around.

My family wouldn't be able to stand the taste of the water that is at our house if it wasn't for Brita filters and pitcher. When the filter is new it removes entire bad taste. When the filter is close to needing to be changed, you can start to taste the yuck again. I use my pitcher everyday for making baby bottles for my son and for water to drink for my family and each filter lasts anywhere from 2-3 months for my family. I only wish they were a little less spendy, but they are worth every dollar.
