These are a low profile design, not super cushioned. They are lightweight, and very comfortable, the slight heel boost is nice to walk in. I walk in these, wear them casually, and like the way they look. I probably wouldnt go jogging in them due to lack of padding and support. But I didnt buy them for that, I wear them for everyday, and am really liking them. They fit true to size, I am a 6, they have a roomy toe box, no rubbing or irritation anywhere, plenty of room to wear a good sock. The colors are nice, muted, no glaring silver or blinding white, go with most jeans and casual wear.
