The temperature is off by a good 50 degrees
Baking on the bake mode takes FOREVER, one must use the convection setting and then add at least 50 degrees to the temperature you would normally bake at

I LOVE my little oven I almost forgot the larger one, I used this for ALL my baking needs, I have roast everything in the rotisserie except a turkey( not enough room to turn and too heavy for that), my younger son learn to use it very quickly, he broils everything, I dare to cook a 16lb turkey last thanksgiving, it came out perfect the 2hr timer is so convenient, it holds up to a 9x13 pan without handles ;(, it heats up a lot so be careful, easy to clean.

This oven is the best for the price anywhere. The settings are bake, broil, convection, and rotisserie. I am using the convection and the food cooks evenly and in less. It came with additional bake pans and the rotisserie set. This looks very attractive on the counter. I am very happy with this oven.

JUST BEEN USING FOR A FEW WEEKS AND SO FAR I LOVE IT. IT HEATS UP QUICKLY AND BROWNS ITEMS WITHOUT BURNING THEM. FITS MOST 9X13 PANS AND EVEN A REGULAR PIZZA PAN. THE ONLY THING I CAN'T GET TO FIT IS A REGULAR MUFFIN PAN OTHER THAN THAT GREAT. I LOVE THE DRIP PAN IN THE BOTTOM TO CLEAN UP ANY CRUMBS. THE TOP OF THE UNIT DOES GET HOT AND NEEDS SPACE ABOVE TO VENT PROPERLY.

This review may be a bit premature because I don't quite have a handle on the convection feature yet. Granted, it is noisy but I don't stay in the kitchen listening to it. My old oven quit working months ago and I'm really enjoying being able to bake again. So far I've only baked a few things including a casserole that came out perfectly. The true test will come when I try brownies. HOWEVER, I attempted to rotisserie a chicken yesterday and it did not go well at all. My old Farberware rotisserie had 4 prongs that held a chicken firmly in place; two prongs don't work nearly as well. I suppose it was partly my fault but I thought I had them firmly imbedded in the chicken. The "spit" struggled trying to turn the chicken, average sized, and the chicken slipped each time it finally turned. I ended up baking it using the convection feature and it turned out very dry. So, yes, so far I love this little oven BUT it's going to take practice, trial and error, to learn to use the rotisserie. AND, cleaning the grease off the door and inside of the oven is going to be grueling because it splattered all over.

I bought this oven because my wall oven broke and I can't replace it just yet. This oven does its job, but I had to buy new pans because the ones I have wouldn't fit. Otherwise, it has worked well.

I am very pleased toaster convection oven. the first thing i cooked in it i rotisseried a 5 lb chicken. turned out perfect, and clean up of the inside was just a wipe down. the drip pan soaked a few minutes and ccleaned up easily to. I cooked meat loaf and baked sweet potatoes on the convection setting, then home made biscuits on the bake setting, all came out perfect.
this oven does better than my regular oven.
IT is a large oven,big as a microwave so it will take up counter space and the door when you open it part way it stays but if opened all the way you need to let it down easy onto the counter top or it will drop. and i wish it had a light inside it. other than that perfect!!!!

I really like this oven.I have an old gas range/oven. I had recently replaced the burners and then the oven went bad. Since I had so much money in the burners and didn't have the finances to buy a new large range with an oven, my husband and I decided to by this counter top oven.
It's perfect!!!! We have used it already several times, we have baked pizza, a ham, biscuits, and a casserole frozen chicken and more.
We've used the baking pan for the frozen food and it works great. I used a 9 x 13 pan, make sure they don't have handles that stick out, it must be just a plain retangular one, to bake a ham for Easter. Worked great. I am still experimenting with the convection feature. I just jot down on a card what I baked and the time if using convection so I'll remember for next time what I did. You may want to adjust your baking times a little more or less until you get used to the oven. I always go a little less and then can add time if needed, just until I get used to it.
We sat it on a stainless steel , kitchen cart. The sides and top do get hot, but that is to be expected.
I haven't tried the rotissiere feature.
I think this is well worth the money.

I've had this toaster oven for almost a year now. It's fantastic, couldn't live without it. I use it almost daily. We live in Las Vegas & the summers are definately hot & this oven does not heat up your kitchen as does your regular stove oven. I not only make pizza's but homemade bread, cakes, pies, roast chicken, other roasts as well. I don't know what 1 reviewer stated she was afraid to use it because she needed special baking pans. I use my pyrex all the time as well as corning wear. I've had no problems using aluminum foil in it either. I love the double racks as I often & making 2 seperate things. I don't make frozen TV Dinners, but I'm sure there would not be a problem baking them. This is a great oven for the price. I actually paid more for mine a year ago. Excellent buy for the money.

This large capacity toaster oven does a good job on most things. However, I haven't had much luck baking pies or cakes with it. It did not cook a pecan pie on the inside I made. I followed the recipe I had to a tee, but the pie was completely uncooked on the inside when we cut into it after cooling. I would never risk trying to bake a bundt cake. It does an adequate job with casseroles but I always worry whether it's going to bake correctly.

This Hamilton Beach Oven is a great kitchen appliance. I don't need to use a big oven which adds heat to the kitchen, uses waaaay more energy and doesn't do any better job. I use the smaller oven every day and have been really satisfied with the results.

This oven is a great large size especially for the price. I bought it to use in my sculpting business. I sculpt fantasy dolls & creatures & I needed a large counter top oven to bake the polymer clay creations in & this was recommended by different doll artist clubs.
I would have given it 5 stars except that the temperature isn't correct. I have 2 different oven thermometers inside to have accurate temperature & I had to make ajustments as it wasn't correct per my 2 thermometers.
But I'm keeping it & making the adjustments per my 2 thermometers rather than exchanging it because I would have to reorder it online & I need it to replace my broken oven.

This is the best purchase I have made in a long time. It fits in a 15X20 inch space on my counter and I use it all the time. My regular oven is obsolete now. This is a convection oven and absolutely cooks in about 2/3 the time. I'm going to give this as gifts for next Christmas.

Unfortunately the oven arrived with the top part of the metal frame either peeled or discolored. It is only about 3 inches and not extremely noticeable so I decided to keep it even though I like my new products to actually look new. Then I tried to bake fish in the oven just like I do in my regular oven but it was simply not successful; I'm not sure how I went wrong on that one. In the morning I attempted to make toast but I guess I did not buy a toaster oven as I had originally thought because there is no setting specifically for TOAST. I used the BROIL instead but it took forever to brown my bread and waffles. My regular toaster took about 2 minutes max whereas the broil setting takes about 10. I bought this to replace my toaster (which was recalled for causing fires) so I could toast and bake more quickly but overall I am not pleased and I am not optimistic about becoming happier with it. It is what it is, and it is taking up a lot of space on my counter being unused!

I had an old one that was the same brand. We loved it. The new one seems to take longer to cook the same food as the old one. I think the old one brought on both the upper and lower heat elements. Seems the new one just brings on the top element on convection.
