Set in a huge open world, Dragons Dogma offers an exhilarating and fulfilling action combat game with the freedom to explore and interact in a rich, living and breathing world. Alongside your party of three, you set out to track down and destroy a mysterious dragon. Every decision has an effect on gameplay in an intuitive way that does not require micromanagement. The weight of your weapon, the material of your armor even the length of your legs plays a role in how you fight your battles, but does not interrupt the flow of the action. Dragons Dogma is built from the ground up as an action experience for consoles with a continuous, epic storyline that stands alone in style, scope and substance.
I loved this game the story is kind of sad but the combat is the most fun I have had in any game in a long time it does not matter what class you play they are all fun some more than others but you have room 2 try them all without being gimped 2 badly there is some strategy 2 what class you play and in what order something that I didn't know when I started playing :( if you know what you want 2 end up as then that is what the internet is for :) .the pawns are fun if you don't no what that is when you get 2 a point shortly after the game starts you get 2 make a second character called a pawn it learns from every fight if it sees you do something help full or it does something it will remember it for the next time you run into that problem quest or monster if someone rents your pawn it will learn from them 2 so if you haven't done a quest or killed a monster and they have they will yell out tips 2 help you get it done faster. IM still playing this game I have over 200hr into it and still don't want 2 stop playing the only reason it gets a 4 is the story. you start the game off with a cool intro a short fight then another kind of cool cut scenes then the rest of the game up till you fight the dragon feels like its all pointless side quests till you get 2 the post game content that is then its ok the last boss is 2 ez and I thought pointless the only reason at all 2 fight him is if you want 2 do new game+ and the only reason for that is it adds a few new monsters 2 find and kill and lets you do things you missed the first time.

I love all the combined gameplay in this game. From shadow of colossus to skyrim. This game can do a little bit better on the rpg aspect but is a good action game.

Excellent RPG that sadly didn't get much hype before release.
Pros: combat is engaging, character customization and separate class skills, so many items to collect and combine, pawn system, boss battles, are you afraid of the dark?
Neutral: fast-travel to main city only by use of item.
Cons: pawn/follower AI issues (cannot position or control their personalities), camera sometimes gets too close, some items are rare and not a necessity.
