The Garmin Echo 150 Fishfinder is built with dual beam technology that provides excellent shallow-water performance. This salt water fishfinder has 200W RMS transmit power, so you can accurately scan to depths of 1,300 feet in fresh water and 500 feet in saltwater. The wide viewing angle of 120 degrees lets you see fish even off the sides of the boat. To take even more guesswork out of the equation, this waterproof fishfinder's exclusive HD-ID target-tracking technology provides you with better separation and definition of images on its crisp 4-inch grayscale display. The 256 x 160 resolution displays the images clearly. You can even keep track of the depth and water temperature on its display. The Garmin Echo 150 Fishfinder includes a quick-release tilt mount for easy installation. An optional flush mount kit can also be used if needed. The waterproof construction makes the mounted fishfinder ideal for rough weather conditions.
Great inexpensive fishfinder, but short power cord
By an anonymous customer ,
I bought this as a replacment for an old hummingbird that finally went bad. I have used it once, and it works just fine. Plenty of detail, and simple to use. Installation was easy on my 16 foot jon boat, however the power cord provided was way too short (maybe 5 feet long?) to reach from the middle of the boat to the back where I keep my battery. I ended up splicing the Garmin power cord into the existing power cord I had rigged up from the hummingbird. If you aren't replacing an old one, you may need to get more wire. Consider this during your install. Other than that, great value - I'd buy it again.
