K'NEX K'NEX 521pc Value Tub
The KNEX 521pc Value Tub is ideal for children who love to play with building sets. The tub consists of 521 building pieces so your child can use his imagination and build until he runs out of pieces. The KNEX building set includes an instruction booklet, complete with details on how to construct 35 unique models using this set. Your child can use the booklet to make ferris wheels, creatures, dinosaurs and other things. The pieces be stored in the included KNEX storage tub, so you dont have to worry about losing them. The KNEX 521pc Value tub is appropriate for children 7 years old and up.

521 pieces barely cover the bottom of container!

My husband needed someone of the pieces in this kit to teach a chemistry lesson and allow his students to have a hands on approach. We figured with 521 pieces there would be plenty to go around. There were barely any of the pieces that he needed (yes we understand its an assortment and there is no guarantee of the pieces that will be in there). Also when taken out of the bags the pieces barely even covered the bottom of the container. With a bin this size you would expect it to be at least half full. What a joke! Do not waste your money!

A Good Mix of large and small sized pieces - with lots of Wheels!
There are a few of the large size 'Flex Rods' in dayglo colors, too. I bought this set to add to my collection AND for ME to play with ... but my great great great grandkids should also be loving my tens of thousands of pieces a century from now. The small sized pieces can create the miniature Ferris wheel with enough of the large sized pieces in the other bag left over to make a Parrot (instructions included for the Ferris Wheel and Parrot!) and a couple of vehicles!
Free building fun for all ages - or follow detailed instructions for Many projects. Made in USA. Great Value

As a if I loved playing with k'nex and I still do. The only thing that I didn't like is how small some of the parts were. Other than that every thing was pretty much the same. Always a great product to get for any child, boy or girl, who has an imagination.

Very poor showing. I did a search on your site for Lego products and this item showed up with a whole bunch of Lego items. It looked like a box of Legos (esp since that is what I asked for in your search option) and that is what I wanted, so I bought it.
I went all the way to your store and picked up my Lego purchase.
- The nice man said is everything to your satisfaction?
I said what is this? I bought Legos, it was on your Lego site.

This set has two sizes that have only limited compatability. I would have prefered only the larger parts. I'm not a child and the small parts are very difficult to build with. I bought two sets and there aren't enough large parts for my purposes... an inatiative game.

I bought this for my son, and he's had a lot of fun with it. The tub is way too big for the pieces that are inside, so at first you feel dissappointed at the volume you receive. However, now my son can put his partially completed creations in the tub with no problems.

My 6 Year old can spend hours playing with this K'NEX set. He just loves it. I only wish that there were more parts inside the container. Because the box looks big from outside but the parts are too small.

The tub boasts being a value for 521 pieces. This is in fact true, but most of the pieces are tiny replicas of the regular k'nex pieces. I assumed they would all be the normal size pieces and found nothing listed that said it includes the smaller pieces. It is hard to describe, let's say you were going to build a car with k'nex. If you used the small pieces, the car would be the size of a matchbox car.

I bought this for my 13 year old nephew for Christmas. He loved it! Originally, I thought it would be too young for him but he loved all the extra pieces so he could add on to his previous projects and begin building new ones. I thought the value was good for the number of pieces you receive. Great that it comes in it's own storage container too. I looked at other sets as well which had more moving parts but not as many pieces. I also bought this online with the "ship to store" option. During Christmas this was excellent! I shopped on my own time, knew my item would be there when I was ready to pick it up and didn't have to wait in the holiday lines!

The pieces are a a little smaller than I was expecting, but the quality is good. I absolutely love the storage tub. We'll have plenty of room to add to the collection in years to come. I also like the fact that it comes with some building ideas and instructions.
