I am not one who reads manuals before trying to use a product. On this occasion though, I had to read through the manual to make sure I was using the product correctly. I would prefer to see how much (in terms of percentages) memory I have left on my the internal and memory card up front on the display. I have yet to figure out certain icons that appear on the display. Navigating through my recordings are pretty easy as long as I pay attention to the dates that appear on display. Overall a good product for the price I paid.
