It isn't as soft as I had hoped or as a mattress very similar in price to this one that I had purchased from Walmart a few years ago... But it's still a great mattress and comfortable for a firmer mattress!

Mattress arrived quickly and set up was a breeze. Didn't experience any of the smell that other reviewers have mentioned. Going from a spring mattress to memory foam is a bit of an adjustment, but we're sold! It is a bit warmer to sleep on, but not by much. We are both waking up feeling more rested, and everybody who has sat or laid on it, loves it, including the kids! We are both moderately large people and it provides great support. Sitting up can be a bit more difficult than a spring mattress - but we just laugh and count it as a "sit-up"! Only slight "con" (and this may be TMI) is that certain "non-sleep" activities are going to take some getting used to on it! But, overall, we are converted, the price was amazing, and we won't be going back to a spring mattress again!

What an amazing mattress! Specially for the price! The first night we slept on the mattress it was very comfortable but it got too HOT. After all that's how memory foam works, the heat of your body is what mold and preserves the foam to your body. So, I bought the Dream Essentials 2" Fresh Gel topper from Walmart also and my bed is perfect. I'm sleeping in heaven :) the mattress is extremely firm which I like and need for my back problems but with the topper it's cool and comfy but firm at the same time. I love my new mattress combo.

Bought this as a replacement for the mattress in our guest room. It isn't used often so did not want to spend a lot on a new mattress. Saw these advertised and my husband has always wanted to try one. I heard from some that the foam mattresses were 'warm' to sleep on. Certainly not needed now. Of course we've tested it. Initially it feels really firm as you crawl in, but immediately you can feel the bed forming to your body. We had no feel that it was too warm... in fact - it's a great sleep.

Got my new Signature Sleep Memoir 12" Memory Foam Mattress a few days ago. I was expecting to open it and find the usual foul odor that comes with memory foam products. I was delighted to find almost no scent at all!! Even the toppers stink up my room amd sheets, so the lack of smell was a big bonus. My roomate helped me unroll the mattress and we set it up in an unused room thinking it would take a 2 days to decompress and expand to it's full size. It took less than 20 minutes and I slept on it that night. It was the best night of sleep I have had in years! However this is a very firm mattress so keep that in mind if you have pressure points. A fluffly, quilted mattress pad or an additional foam topper will take care of that if it's a problem for you. So far I absolutely love it and it was a great price as well. 5 stars!

This is a review of the product so far..I have yet to unpack the mattress due to the frame not being delivered at the same time.
I am a bit cautious of what I paid $400 for based on the outside wrapping!
The covering is ripped and dirty dirty dirty! The end has been patched shut with parcel tape and I would be very surprised if I was the first recipient of this mattress.
I will wait until I open it fully as I already have one from this company which way exceeded my expectations.
Am I unusual in thinking a new purchase should look new?

Bought this for my ten year old who needed a new bed. I have a temper bed and if I had know about this one a few years back I would have gotten this one instead. Very comfortable and the price is perfect. Hope it lasts but I can't see why it wouldn't.

I waited quite a while to write this review, because when I was reading them I wanted to hear from someone who'd had it for a long time.
The set up of this bed was a breeze. I set it on the boxsprings I had and pulled the plastic off. I was sleeping in it the same night, and it had very little odor. The cover is a nice off white and feels nice, but looks like it would be difficult to remove and clean. I bought a waterproof pad for the bed to avoid that.
The bed was MUCH firmer than I had been sleeping on, and it took quite a while to get used to, but now I wouldn't trade it for anything else! I had been having quite a bit of problems with my back and hips being a woman in my late 40's. After a year of sleeping on this bed, I look back and realize my back hasn't hurt since I started sleeping in it.... at all. my hips no longer hurt either.
Either the bed has softened just a bit over the last year or I've really gotten used to it. I do sink in a bit, but not much. I'm happy to say I'm sleeping ON the bed not IN it. I don't have the dips in the bed that you start to get after awhile and I can see this bed easily lasting me a good 10 years. For the price I paid that is a steal of a deal.
I've never slept in the expensive memory foam beds, but I'm not real interested in that anymore either. I believe I've gotten a very comfortable, durable memory foam bed that suits me just fine for a fraction of the cost. I have absolutely no complaints. Try it

I bought this mattress for my Boyfriend and I. The first time we slept on it we noticed a difference. This mattress is great! I researched several other more expensive options and none had great reviews like this one. This one is also significantly less than other similar mattresses and our back pain disappeared too. I would totally recommend it!

The description of the item is very descriptive and accurate. Though I wish the bed was a bit softer than it is, again, Walmart did not lie that it was a medium firmness type of mattress, and hopefully I get used to it. Now, I'm also being this picky because I'm quite tall, and tall people tend to have back problems, so being comfy is a must.
Overall, item seems like high quality, great price, and good delivery. The mattress came in as a large roll in a body bag-size of bag, and not in a box like as shown, but it's all good. The chemical smells of the manufacturer went away in two days, so that's also good.

We bought this mattress a little over 6 months ago and haven't had a problem. It does smell for the first day or so, but since your're not sleeping on it for the first day after that no smell and I have a VERY sensitive nose.

I have waited about a month before I put in a review because sometimes what starts out great ends badly. I am pleased to say that this is not the case with this bed. It is firm not soft so if you are expecting a lot of give with this bed then don't buy it because you will be disappointed. My husband and I are not small people. I am 5' 10" and my husband is a little over 6' and we are not skinny people and this bed works wonderfully. There is no sagging together in the middle. It did take me about a week to get use to the bed and I don't really think of it as being firm anymore. It would be nice if the memory foam on the top were a little thicker but for the price I would definetly purchase another bed. I can buy 5 of these beds for what I paid for another high end memory foam mattress that started with a "T" and only lasted 7 years!!! Warranty! don't expect that to work in your favor with the "T". One note about the customer service at walmart.com. I did have a small problem with the bed I ordered the first time going to another state and being delivered to who knows but once I called customer service they immediately shipped me another bed and it was delivered within the initial time frame. Thank you customer service.

Camper mattress replacement

We have a camper we bought new several years ago and have always complained about the mattress that came with the unit. We tried over the years to make it better with mattress pads; memory foam toppers ect. So this year, I decided since we have a permanant campsite and stay every weekend all summer long and sleep on that mattress it was past time to make it comfortable. So I got the new 12 inch memory foam mattress to replace the one that came with the camper; and wow what a world of difference. The last 2 weekends were wonderful. I no longer wake up with my back hurting and my husband said the same thing. It can be too warm if your not used to memory foam, but like I said I used a topper before so was used to that. I hope it holds up over time but don't know yet, the quality seems to be good so I'm hopeful.

I don't even get to turn, I fall asleep within minutes of my head touching the pillow. My body is so relaxed on this mattress, I wish I had it a long time ago. The person who invented this, must have had the need for great rest, because, this is what I am enjoying. If your body is still tired when you arise, get one of these. You will never regret it. Likewise, the cost is so reasonably, it is amazing.

This mattress arrived in less than anticipated time. Lightening fast. It came in a kind of ditty bag lol We opened it up and almost instantly it was 6-8 inches thick, it only took a few hours to fully expand. We were able to sleep on it that night. I had to work early the next morning and being a new mattress...I did not sleep well at all. It is VERY firm!!!!! We have had this mattress for about 2 weeks now the first 2 nights...not so much, now after getting used to it, I love it!! There was a slight smell my husband noticed, I didn't really smell anything unless I got real close to it. Would I recommend this mattress? Absolutely! I would recommend that you do not try it until a night you don't have to work the next day, and I highly recommend that you allow time to get used to it. I sleep all night long now, I wake up feeling good and ready to go! Love it!!
Also folks, if you just do not like it...there is a 90 day return policy at Walmart Stores and that does mean you can return this mattress to them. Keep the paper work you got when you bought and paid for it and return it. Most Walmart Stores will give you no hassle as long as you have the paperwork.

We followed all instructions for allowing the mattress to expand. It looked inviting after waiting the prescribed 48 hours. But the minute we laid down, we knew we were in trouble. There was NO comfortable sleeping position. It felt like sleeping on a sidewalk covered with 1/2 inch of foam rubber. Would not recommend this mattress.
