Got an email saying item was shipped to local FedEx office. And got an email asking for feedback.
What was missing was the "Ready for Pickup" email - which I never received.

I thought the price was to high but the product worked great. When I got my proform elliptical the adapter was lose then it gave out completely. This new one fit snug and now I'm back on my machine. I hope this one last.

Very impressed with the construction of this elliptical. Do not recomend trying to put it together by yourself. TWO people are needed. Very quiet! Would recomend buying the AC adapter because the batteries do not last long and there is no on/off switch. It goes off on its own after not being used for so long. Can't wait to see my results after a couple weeks of using it.
The only thing I found was the plastic covers that go over the pinch points on the arms do not snap completely together - there is a small gap. But it is minute, so will see how it goes.
With regular use, you will definately see results!

I am using it in a NordicTrack C3 si Recumbent Exercise Bike, Model NTEX05808.0 and it works perfectly. I'd suggest you use it with the batteries out -- not sure if leaving them in would be a problem but I would not chance it. Should work in any device requiring a 6-Volt, 2-Amp application. The price for this AC Power Adaptor from Wal-Mart is a lot less expensive than the one sold on-line by NordicTrack. Good luck and I hope this review helps you.

Let's see. . . keep changing out the 4 D batteries on my new recumbent exercise bike, or get the ProForm adapter. This was an easy decision, and this adapter works perfectly. I extend the length with a power strip, and away I go.

My wife bought me a Pro-Form 4.0 recumbent exercise bike. The third time I used it the automatic shut-off failed and my 4 D batteries failed in 24 hours. I called and they were nice enough to send a replacement console (still waiting on it) and when I inquired about the charger, the Rep said he would ship the $ 20 charger with the console and there would be No charge for shipping. He put me on hold and when he came back he informed me they would have to charge shipping. I asked what the price would be altogether and he said $50 & change. I immediately declined-ordered this on and it works fine. Saved about $30.

This adapter worked great as expected. Only thing I would like to mention though is that it is not "proform" brand, it is some other unknown brand name. But other than that it works fine and it is cheaper than ordering from sears parts center which was about $59.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I should have bought one 5 yrs ago . It replaces 4 D cell batteries that do not last long and you can pay for this item in about 3 months of battery usage. I found the same device at the bike's manufacturer's website for the same price. I didn't buy it there because they wanted more to ship it than it cost ! Walmarts free ship to store is great.. use it all the time for hard to find in store items.

If you buy a Golds Gym Elliptical and do not mind changes the 4 D batteries required great, but if you are like me and want to never worry about batteries and have a good power source that works great with your elliptical then I highly recommend spending the money (price was very reasonable) and buy this plug!

The order was shipped promptly, well packaged and works as expected. It is an optional item to exercise equipment and would have been more convient if it was stocked in the store. Although the item is listed as PRO, the one I received is of a different brand made in China. I could have purchased the off brand for about half of what Walmart sells it for but it does seem to be working OK. It could have been helpful if the description listed the barrel plug size.
