I purchased this tablet to try out Android before upgrading to a Smartphone. It is excellent for the whole family. We have downloaded a variety of apps - Kindle, library books, games, flashcards for the kids...these have all worked well. I am so pleased with this purchase!

Great Value for a tablet. I've used as an e-reader, GPS, google search, checking email, Facebook, taking pics, and downloaded some games. It's great fun. This was a 8 year-old's birthday gift. I would recommend a 10" screen for adults but the 7" is great for smaller hands.

I Bought this tablet so i could watch my movies on it, instead of my phone and i have to say its big difference. I wasnt so keen on it at first when i bought it because it didnt have the netflix app at first. But now since its added the app to the marketplace, im in heaven right now!!!!! Also good for reading ebooks & browsing. My finance really let me have it when she found out i ordered this, but the funny thing is she uses it more than i do................LITERALLY!!! All in all it might not be a HP or Apple, but its a solid tablet, especially for the price. The only thing i would recommend is purchasing a extra micro memory card(32GB). Runs out of space real quick after downloading a couple of apps and syncing your music & videos.

I really like my wintec tablet. My only complaint would be that it weights a little more than I would like. Wal-Mart had a great price at 198.00. I would recommend this product.

I did love this tablet but I'm really waiting for the gingerbread to come out and be downloaded to it. It's great to have as an extra instead of pulling out the big laptop but it's not something you can only use. But for the price heck ya .. can't beat that!

This is a great little tablet for the price. It picked up WiFi connections fast, the installed keypad is good enough for e-mail, pictures are good and size is more than adequate for viewing. I haven't used all it's features yet but the ones I have I am very pleased with. Portability is much better than a laptop and it works just as well to do what you want if you are using it away from home. For the average PC user I think you will be very happy with it.

I bought this tablet about 2 months ago. My experience with this product has been extremely positive. I use it every day, don't know how I survived without it. Don't use my notebook computer anymore, I use this tablet in it's place. Now on performance, I have downloaded a number of android market apps. I use the the following daily: TD Ameritrade, KITCO for live commodities pricing, a number of news apps, Financial Times, BBC, UK news, Republic news, etc. I also access my iGoogle account and can access Google Finance, Rueters and BBC business news. Use it for Gmail mainly to read and delete, I send short message responses only. Response times using the various apps mentioned is very good for a single processor tablet. Videos and audio runs very well. Key point to remember about this product: Android 2.2 OS, Linux OS Kernel with Google Apps, Andrios 2.3 (GingerBread) Ready and Upgradeable. This is a great product at a very fair price.

Look, I've searched up and down for a tab that had to meet some key criteria. Android 2.2 and it had to have a replaceable battery. This and the Toshiba were my choices and I bought this for $199.99 and it has been great. This is feature packed, GPS and all of the items you would want on your tablet with the exception of the front mounted camera. Oh well. If you can buy a class 10 16 or 32 Gb micro SD do that. Also this is really a ZTE light V9 branded under Wintec light. It has the cell phone built in but you will need to root the tablet to use that feature*Tmobile or ATT sim cards are usable when that is done. It says in the outline that gingerbread would be released this fall but, I cannot find the date when the gingerbread upgrade is going to be released. For this price it was a steal. If you can find one I recommend it.

Well, I ordered this without putting alot of thought into it considering I am used to having high tech equipment, that was a mistake. I see it has mainly good reviews and could see how that would happen when someone who isn't very techy wants just a nice gadget for games and apps. I think 600mgz processor is not enough for any tablet and there is not nearly enough ram. I ended up returning this after doing more research on tablets while waiting for this one to arrive via wal-marts slow shipping lol I ended up obsessing over the toshiba thrive witch is the cadillac of tablets. Toshiba thrive is the first tablet to have a removable back so you can replace the battery yourself without ruining your warranty. Also the battery last 11 hours as the wintec doubtfully last the 8 hrs it claims to last and it has a dual core processor with 1 GB of ram and a 10.1" screen. Don't waist your money go spent and extra $150 and get toshiba thrive, you won't regret it not to mention there are tons of accessories for it by toshiba unlike this tablet witch is pretty much unknown. Toshiba is also actively supporting it as I get updates at least once a week.

I have had this tablet for my 11 eleven year old daughter and my 8 year old year son without issues. BTW: the battery can be removed without voiding the warranty, I have done it multiple times. I even talked to the nice support staff at Wintec Industries about it. The Toshiba Thrive is at $398.00 vs. $198.00 Thats a $200.00 savings. Maybe cuz you work for Toshiba, they gave you a discount, but saving $200.00 is a big deal.

I do enjoy this little tablet although i had trouble getting started. The mini sd card is already installed. The pkg. only has a Quick Start guide. The actual user manual is downloaded in the tablet itself. I could not figure out how to access it, so I had to print out the manual online(about 50 pages). Once I had that, I had no problems getting started. There were no instructions anywhere how to access the manual on the quick start guide, which is pretty worthless, I think. There are tons of Apps in categories of TOP FREE, MOST POPULAR, etc. in every imaginable category. These can be downloaded to the internal storage or the mini sd card. If you mess up, you can default to factory- shipped setting & re do everything. Touch pad tends to be sensitive & a mere touch can change the screen. Can be locked via password or a connect-the-dots drawing. Has a camera & camcorder. The only thing I wish it had was a usb port. The only slot is for the charger. If it has a usb port, it'd be perfect!! I would not use this in place of my laptop or a netbook, but is great to carry around when you don't want to drag a laptop around. Wi-Fi ready.

I got it a couple of days ago it took awhile to open the back to install the battery, but at the end everything was looking good. I have verizon mifi and with it's wifi I was, well my kids were enjoying it and downloading apps quickly. So I am pleased with it if only it had 3g it would be more awesome.

This tablet is amazing! I am a college student- and therefore I have a very tight budget. My laptop is really big, so it was difficult to bring it on campus when I needed a computer. I really wanted something that I could 1- read books on like an e-reader (for the bus ride to campus), 2- be able to open and create word documents, and 3- have access to internet. This tablet meets all of these needs, while still being a great price. My mother voted against me getting the tablet, but I got it anyway- hoping that it would be put to good use! And I love it! I have told so many people, that this is the best thing! My mother has even heard all of the things that I am able to do on it and she now agrees that it was a good purchase. The only thing that I was not crazy about, is the typing, but that is more of my personal opinion. I find it wierd to type on a touch screen, so I am in the process of getting a bluetooth keyboard. Another thing that is annoying, is that since it isn't that popular, it is hard to find covers for it. Besides those two things- it is a perfect fit for me! This is a must buy for anyone who wants a tablet, but can't spend the high cost on them. It fits in my bag easily and is really light. I completely love it!

if you go on e bay and look up Wintec or ZTE tablet case, you will find a variety. I got a really nice leather one that looks like an ipad2 leather cover for $15.00. It was free shipping from HongKong, but it only took like 10 days to get it. It is really nice and fits it perfectly. :)

Make sure you get a Bluetooth Standard 2.0 keyboard that is also compatible with iPad2. They have the best connection to this tablet. GMSK modulation.
As for the covers. I found one on Amazon for $14.00 bucks or so.

Hi Terry. The User's Manual is located on our website www.wintecind.com, Click on Support, then to Downloads and Manuals, and it is right there, and on the "Filer" app located in the applications section. As for the Wi-Fi, the password must be correct from the router in order to connect to the Wi-Fi, another thing is that you must have a Wireless router in order to pick up the wireless signal, { Some customer's did not know that } If its 'Scanning, connecting, disconnecting, the tablet is trying to connect to the router, but the router will not allow it due mainly to the password protection and/or the security setup. I have not had any problems with this tablet. The tablet does everything it promises and has a great price. I have been using it for almost a month now and have loved it. It is very user friendly and easy to navigate, plus it is easy to download apps to it to customize it to what you want it to do for you.

I am very happy with my Wintec tablet! I use it for BSF and it is very user friendly...once you get it set up the way you like. It does not come with a manual so setting up is a hands on process. I like the Jorte date calendar, the Notes section as well as having several Bible Versions, dictionary, commentaries, maps etc. The battery seems to stay charged for a good 5 hours. Have found that decreasing the brightness helps save the battery. However, it sure is nice to be able to adjust the
brightness according to your surroundings. The more I use it the more I like it! We were able to
purchase it while it was priced at $198. The only thing I wish it had is windows! Would I buy the same product over again........absolutely.
