This easel is very sturdy and appears to be well made. It is very useful because of the chalkboard as well as the dry erase board. We haven't had the easel very long but the easel itself is all that the manufacturer says it will be. The paint brushes that came with it came apart the first time we used them. (children were well supervised# and the clips that came with it came apart and would not stay together after putting them back together. #I threw them away)

We bought my daughter this easel for Christmas, it was very easy to put together, I love EVERYTHING it came with, the paints, the brushes, the rollers, and the collapseable plastic container and all the little plastic no spill paint cups that have colors in English and Spanish! She has played with it everyday especially the white dry erase board side she loves to draw and erase and draw and erase..I also like how it can "grow" with her I highly recommend this easel its sturdy we have lots of fun with it!!!

I have been looking for an easel for my son who is 5 that is nice and sturdy for him to use to paint. It was easy to put together and came with painting supplies minus the paper. I was worried it might be flimsy, but it is nice and sturdy, with no worries of it easily tipping over. My son has not yet used the chalk board or dry erase side. So I cannot tell you how easily it is to erase. I mainly bought it for him to clip up paper and paint.
