I have two sons, and they both have tablet Dell And Samsung, all I can say this Blackberry tab is much better, my two sons keep on borrowing my tablet , I love watching my soap opera in this tablet.. I really love it..

bought this item in December because i saw that it was cheap and i always wanted to buy a blackberry for a good price. the only down part that i didnt like was that when i take pictures it only has the normal it doesnt take black and white or sephia but other then that its like a computer light version

This is the first one I have ever purchased. It is. Fun to use. My only complaint is that it doesn't run java apps. However, there is an app that I found that will allow you to access your laptop and it is suppose to interface to allow you to run windows on here, java and many other programs. It is called splash something. They recommend that your computer have a dual core processor to work efficiently so I haven't purchased it yet. I am waiting to get a new laptop first because my old one is slow and outdated. Otherwise this is great and 64gigs will hold all your music. I had 46gigs left after transferring my itunes.

Great value! It is better than the ipad.
I just bought two of these, one is for my wife and she loves the BlackBerry Play book. We never had any BlackBerry products before, but from now on I am going to look more into their stuff to buy.

This tablet is fantastic! 1) you cant beat the price, 2) it feels great in your hand, and 3) it has great features, works amazingly well, and has an awesome camera.
Plus if you learn to sideload android apps, which super easy and fast, you have a huge market of apps to choose from. I love this tablet and am so glad I saved my money and didnt buy and android tab.

The BlackBerry PlayBook is a really great tablet. It plays very clear movies. Some of the HD games from the app store are really cool. They could use more main stream games, but I'm sure that will change over time. It packs a lot of power. Lots of on board memory for a tablet. Surfs the web great. Interface was a little weird at first, but I've never used a tablet before. The tutorial helped a little bit, but I had to google how to organize all the apps on it. It also take a little while to start up, but you can put it on standby to avoid that most of the time. Battery last a good while as long as you control the brightness level. Once you get used to it, it's pretty cool. I'd suggest it to a friend easily. Now I got it on sale for 33% off. Which was a great deal. Not sure I'd pay the full $300 though. But I'm usually broke so take that into account. If you have the money to spend it's pretty sweet

My wife loves this tablet. She enjoys being able to view videos, emails and texts on a larger screen.
Does it have all the apps of Apple or Android no? Can it play flash videos like a desktop computer obviating the need for most standalone video apps--yes?
The major things missing are the games. We can sideload the Android games. So, again this is a good tablet for Blackberry phone users. Android and iPhone users might want to consider Nexus 7 (if they don't mind the camera), a Galaxy Tab or an iPad instead.
Again, my wife's very happy with this tablet.

Purchased a 2nd BlackBerry PlayBook to make husband - wife video chats possible.
Sole drawback of having a second PlayBook for video chat is that video chat will not work if they are both registered in my name (which would facilitate downloading the same apps to both, since they were already paid for on the first PlayBook). To implement video chats, the 2nd PlayBook must be registered to a different person (technically, a different BlackBerry ID, which could in fact be the same person using another name).

I had the Google nexus 7 32gb and took it back for this
because I get flash support which is awesome its 64gb has a camera
U can turn the flash and java off whenever u want and it becomes even faster its just as fast as the nexus 7 battery life the same or better
Did some reading online how to get android apps and got angry birds, space,seasons,Rio all 4 free in hd the screen n picture is so sweet sound excellent and it costs 30-40 dollars less
Also comes with nice soft case
Internet browser on this is awesome

Pros: Hardware is rock solid. Rim software seems to be fluid and easy to navigate once you have learned how to use the device. Love the Bluetooth connectivity with the official B.B keyboard and cover.

The blackberry tablet is a great tablet all around, reliable and sturdy. But in my opinion this tablet would be great for business use only. If you want a tablet for gaming and to make the time go by I don't recommend. Only some good free apps are available and only some videos are available for you on YouTube.

It's too bad that this item is no longer available. I think I got the last one. I love the Blackberry Playbook. I purchased the item to watch videos on the plane while traveling. 64GB is a lot of storage. I can fit several full length movies on it. The only thing that I don't like is not being able to stream Netflix. But you cannot do that on a plane anyway. The quality of the hardware is excellent and for what I wanted (viewing videos) this was perfect.
