The Nostalgia Electrics HKP-200 Hollywood Series Kettle Popcorn Maker from Nostalgia is an ideal unit for home use. With the light-up marquee on the Hollywood popcorn maker, you can personalize it with your name or message using the 150 vinyl letter pack included in the kit. The kettle popcorn machine comes with a two-ounce stainless steel kettle and a built in stirring system to get the best flavor. It has a capacity to make eight popped cups of popcorn. A measuring spoon for oil and a cup of corn kernels is also provided along with this popcorn machine.

i love this machine. when my friends come over they are in complete aww..lol. it serves its purpose very well but i do have only 2 flaws and they are 1. the letters for the marque aren't all that spectacular and don't seem to be reusable as they say. 2. the cleaning of the kettle is somewhat irritating, u really have to be extra careful with letting water touch this thing. but all in all this product is GREAT! and it has MY nickname on it already.."HOLLYWOOD". i truly recommend, it really sets the atmosphere for my man cave. PS. the quality of popping is perfect you won't be disappointed.

I've only had this product for 3-4 weeks, but my family loves having really good, movie-like popcorn in just minutes. The design is perfect for the media room and I like the having the optional lighting. Getting the oil and popcorn into the popper is a little challenging, but very do-able. I recommend not putting in more popcorn than the scoop provided because it won't pop as well and you'll have a lot of unpopped kernels. It doesn't make a lot in a single setting, but we find that 2 batches is very sufficient for 4 people for a 2-hour movie. I would highly recommend this popcorn maker for really good popcorn & a fun, theater-like experience!

The one complaint I have is that it is very noisy. Also, as it begins to empty the popcorn it starts to "squeal". Maybe something is wrong with the plastic gears. Will probably have to return it. There must be something wrong with this one because nobody else has mentioned this in their reviews.

I had bought this for my husband for his birthday and he really loved it. It took about 10 minutes to set up and we had popcorn in no time. He also liked the way he could put what he wanted on the front sign. I would recommend this to anyone who loves good popcorn.

My daughter purchased this popcorn popper for my husband this past Christmas...WOW!! Great popcorn popper. Popcorn tastes just as good as movie theatre popcorn. We purchased the popcorn salt from Sam's and the oil and popcorn from WalMart. Not only does the popcorn taste delicious, the popcorn popper is very pleasing aesthetically, too. She was able to personalize it which made it even more unique.

I bought this as is was on my daughter's Christmas list. After I got it (for a great price with my coupon) and read the reviews on this and other sites, I hesitated and even bought the Waring Pro Maker from another store because I was afraid that this would not work. My husband convinced me to stick with this product because of the theater marquee on the top, which my daughter planned to personalize. BOY AM I HAPPY WE STUCK WITH THE HOLLYWOOD KETTLE POPCORN MAKER.
It has been the hit of Christmas festivities. From the first batch, the maker works great. We even took it to a family gathering that day and made popcorn for everyone! The pull out drawer makes it easy to serve the popcorn which unlike other reviews have stated, comes out hot and definitely, abundantly pops, bursting out of the kettle as the directions and pictures show. Quick wipe-downs in between batches have proved simple.
Now, I must say that although we decided to stick with this product and are returning the Waring Pro Maker, I cannot say anything about the Waring product. It too has a great nostalgic look. It has name recognition but no fun light-up marquee. That is all I can say about it.
