The Angelcare Movement and Sound Baby Monitor allows you to sleep in peace, knowing that your baby is under surveillance round the clock. The 2-in-1 baby monitor combines a quality sound and movement monitor in a single system. This nursery monitor is ideal for first time parents who can have peace of mind with an assurance that their baby is safely being monitored always. The monitor automatically goes in to battery power in case of power failure. It comes with low battery indicator and out of range indicator. This rechargeable baby monitor is provided with under the mattress sensor pads, which detect every movement of your baby. The Angelcare baby monitor gives an optical tic sound corresponding to your babys movements. It produces an alarm sound after 20 seconds if absolutely no movement is detected. You can choose from three channels to minimize the interference and the monitor covers a range up to 820 feet.

I love this monitor. It monitors movement and sound. You can switch between sound only, or sound and movement. Love that the parental unit is rechargeable, it can be portable or plugged into an outlet. The nursery unit has a nightlight feature on the halo part, that is a big help when checking on my baby. The movement monitor works really well. The only thing i need to get used to is, to shut off the monitor before i pick up my newborn. otherwise, the warning beep goes off and if its not shut off within seconds, the no movement alarm goes off. But overall, this product is a life saver!! i sleep so much better at night knowing shes being monitored.

This monitor is amazing. I was skeptical that it would be able to monitor my babies breathing through a 5 inch mattress but it works so perfectly. This product definitely gives us a peace of mind at night!!

I bought this as a gift for my now 10 month old neice. This is a awesome monitor and the motion sensor works great, it's really sensitive and the constant ticking sound once you get used to it is very reassuring to hear.The parents use this monitor every day. You can turn the motion sensor off and use it like a traditonal sound monitor.

I received one at my baby shower and have used it every night with my now 7 month old. I trusted it so much I bought one for a friend. It's alarmed twice recently throughout the night and it was due to the flat piece that goes under baby being moved to a corner of the bed, so be sure its centered under the mattress. I did and would recommend it to a friend.

I am SO grateful for this product! This morning I woke up, and for some reason became terrified that my child wasn't breathing. I shook him instead of waiting for his next breath, so I don't know if he was, but this was enough to make me need to get this product. I am not willing to take risks with my child's life. I felt silly for wanting to spend that much money when something would probably not happen to him, but probably isn't enough.

I bought this when my son was a newborn and it really helped me out to go sleep in peace. I would not recommend it after 3 - 4 months. My son start touching the wires and put it in his mouth. Now we are looking for a wireless monitor / camera.

Great product! Our baby has reflux and so sleeps best on his front, but my wife is super paranoid he'll die of SIDS so she insisted one of us stay awake at all times when he was. Anyway, this gets her off my back, so now the kid can sleep on his front, my wife isn't waking me up, and we get an alarm if he stops breathing for over 20 seconds! Great product for some piece of mind to let you get some sleep, well worth the money!!

When we brought our preemie home from the hospital I had concerns about leaving her to sleep without a monitor so I purchased this monitor. It's extremely easy to use and understand. The ability to leave the baby in one room and have a unit where I can hear the baby and that it also makes a tic noise when she breathes has been invaluable. There's an option to have the tic noise turned off on the parents unit as well for times when you don't want to hear it but still want to hear whats going on in the baby's room. The only bad thing I would have to report is that it has alarmed as if the baby's movement stopped however, she was totally fine. I don't know if the sensor is super sensitive or what but, it's happened more than once and at first was nerve wracking but, now when the alarm goes off we know the baby is fine and that its just a false alarm which kind of defeats the purpose of having the monitor altogether! Either way, for $70, gives great peace of mind

When I got this monitor I had issues with the parent unit not picking up any sound right away. It would work some days but not others. I called customer service and a new parent unit was sent to me. After having the new unit for 3 weeks, it started doing the same thing. I have just requested yet another parent unit. I'm extremely disappointed in the poor quality of this product.

I have bought myself two one just like this one and one deluxe....they bith work great!! They give me a peace of Mind every night my baby is in his bed. I don't sleep well if he is not lying on it. He is 16 months and I still use it as SIDS death can occur up til 2yrs of age. I purchase one of these from Walmart.com for every baby shower I attend and as the new momma opens up this I explain to each person that has attended what this is and wha I does bc I feel so secure with this and I also let them know where I purchased this at. The only problems have is that I have ony found this in one of the local walmarts I shop at and online. I think u should stock this model and the deluxe with the temp alert and all that in all of your walmarts. This monitor has wen off twice before my baby was 7. Months old and he wasn't breathing I firmly believe tha this monitor has saved my baby's life from the SIDS death. The price on this monitor is cheaper than anywhere else as well...I recommend this product to all mommas. I will use this monitor as long as I can with my son. Please continue to keep this product!! As I know I will continue to purchase this product. Thank u!!

Don't have to go for the expensive model this sound monitor does great. It goes off when there is no movement from the baby after just a few seconds. My daughter is able to sleep now knowing that my granddaughter is safe when sleeping.

At 12 weeks old, my son wouldn't sleep worth a darn anymore in his rock n play which worked great for a while. So, we decided we had to transition him to his crib as we didn't want him to start sleeping with us. To my dismay, we discovered that he only slept well on his stomach. My husband isn't as fearful as I am, but sources practically claim that tummy sleeping is a SIDS death sentence, so I was not excited. Too bad some babies won't sleep on their backs! Our son has a terrible startle reflex, so he'd constantly wake up on his back as soon as he was laid down. Finally getting to the review, this monitor has been able to give me the peace of mind I need as a paranoid, frantic new mother. This product is still great for any baby, but especially mothers of tummy sleepers don't have to fear SIDS as much anymore.

I had a close family friend who's grand-daughter died of SIDS at 5 months of age - this happened about a year ago. I just had my first baby at the end of October and I was very afraid of SIDS due to the recent death. I was debating on whether I really needed to buy this because I thought I was being paranoid; I survived and this product wasn't around when I was a baby. After going back and forth, I decided to buy the monitor as I thought to myself, "if I didn't buy it and something happened, then what?"
I am very happy that I bought this monitor as it gives me great peace of mind knowing my baby is okay, and if something were to happen I would be notified instantly. You can take the parent unit anywhere in the house with you (within the range specified# and hear your baby, along with being notified by the beeping if something happens. I have only been using this for 3 days now in his bassinet #baby is 8 weeks old) and I have no complaints. I have tested it a few times with my own hand pressure to make sure it works and you definitely hear the beeping if there is no movement.
I would definitely buy this product again if needed and would recommend it to anyone who has an infant in the hosue.

I bought this monitor because I was having a tough time finding a sound monitor that had good reviews and the one that I had only allowed static through, which did not work well for us because the nursery is on a different floor. I did not need a motion monitor because we already had a Snuza alarm but the reviews for the Angelcare monitor were great and the price was reasonable too. The instructions were a little confusing (just in one section) but it was not too difficult to figure things out through trial and error. The sound monitor is fantastic and covers a pretty far distance. We did not need the motion part, but we hooked it up anyway and it worked well also so we will use that also. I like that you can use the monitor with just sound if you want or motion and sound. Overall, my husband and I are very satisfied with our purchase and we feel comfortable leaving our child in another room while using this monitor.

This monitor has allowed me to finally get some much needed sleep! I am a 1st time mom & worry a lot, without this monitor I doubt I'd be getting any rest! My baby only sleeps on her belly & because of the SIDS risk I was not comfortable letting her sleep alone until finding this monitor. I tested it & it definitely works, although I did get a false alarm the 1st night but realized I had turned the sensitivity all the way down. Sometimes my baby breathes very shallow when in deep sleep & it still works well at level 2 sensitivity(goes up to 5). Oh and the nightlight feature is great! Also the price is very reasonable, best purchase I have made to date!!!

I would recommend this to anyone with a baby. Although this is an expensive monitor, it is well worth the money b/c of the peace of mind you get. The monitor works well and we have not had any problems. On occasion we get a false alarm, but rarely. She is old enough now sometimes she rolls around and gets at the far end of her crib and it doesn't pick her up, but that is not too often anyhow. My husband and I love this monitor.

I bought this as a gift for my baby sister when she had my niece. I live out of state so I had the package delivered to her and she loved it. The instructions were easy for her to follow and although she was nervous to let my niece sleep in her own room at 6mos, this product gave her the piece of mind she needed. She and her husband tested it out at the various sensitivity levels and noise levels and they were impressed with the overall ability of this product. Upon hearing this I, of course, was extremely happy that they were happy with the product and I maintained my big brother "Hero" position in my little sisters eyes. She was, however, upset with the fact that now that she has my niece, my focus is on being the "Hero Uncle" now. LOL.

My husband and I brought this product because we are so afraid of SIDS. It works!!! I was asleep at 3 AM and it started beeping. I immediately got up and woke him up. If it weren't for this monitor, my baby would not be alive today. I have told everyone I know with infants to purchase this product. You have to be very careful with the sensitivity level. If a stand up fan is blowing towards the crib or sitting near the crib, it may sense the vibrations as the baby breathing. It is so worth it to pay $70 for peace of mind while baby is sleeping.
