The American Plastic Toys My Very Own Tool Bench is a 35-piece set that has everything that your toddler will need to create his very own piece of furniture. This toy set includes a hammer, screwdriver, wrench, nails, nuts and bolts, interlocking gears, brackets, a ruler, a cell phone, and utility hooks. The textured back can be utilized as a chalkboard. The tool bench can be used as a pretend play toy that your toddler will want to repair or rebuild over and over. However, the toy requires adult assembly. The hammer and screwdrivers have rounded soft plastic edges to prevent any damage. The kids tool bench is ideal for children who are two years of age and above. This tool bench is part of the family of Pretend Play toys produced by the American Plastic Toys. The packaging is very colorful and is sure to bring a smile on your toddlers face.

Grandson was a little disappointed that phone doesn't ring, but loved that he could hang it on his waistband! He is 2+ and the moving gears and hanging tools caught his fancy.

I love this little work bench for my little one. He loves playing with all of the bolts, screws, hammer, screwdriverl, etc... I have not tested the chalk board yet.

good toy for the price but it is a little flimsy and lacks enough base support. I think adult involvement is needed until the child is close to 3. All the small parts are nice but I would have paid a little more for a tool box to hold them and it would have been a great added feature for the child to play with.

I got this for my 2 year old son birthday. He is always in my toolbox so I decided to get him his own. Very easy to assemble the only downfall is that is does not have enough compartments to keep the items that comes with it. I thought it was a real board to write on, but it is only plastic. If he writes on it there is nothing to erase it off. Overall it keeps him busy and out of my tools.

This was to be used by toddlers in my daycare. It serves the purpose. It's not very sturdy, has a lot of small parts, and was a little troublesome to put together... but all in all it's still a good buy for the purpose.

My husband and I were looking for a work bench for our 18 month old to play with in his room since he loves the kitchen set in our daughter's room. This set took some time to put together (about an hour) and is a little flimsy (i.e. doesn't take much to tip it over if it's pulled on at all) but there are a lot of fun moving parts that can be moved around on the top that keep him interested for now. Most of the other work bench sets were triple the price so I am glad we chose this one. It's very small too so it's a great space saver, unlike a lot of the other ones we saw that took up a lot of room.

This was a great buy for Christmas. My son loves the hammer and phone that comes with this toy. The back is a chalk board which i absolutely love. Tho coolest part of this toy is that some of the pieces are little gears that you can place in any of the holes on the work tables and turn them with the screw driver, they then all turn and work together.
